Remember those badly-cut screen protectors on Amazon thats made everyone mad? Posted: 08 Oct 2018 10:52 AM PDT I still use one of those from last year when the X first came out. The quality of the material is better than any other screen protector I've used—only one tiny scratch after a year of dropping my phone on stuff and putting it places I shouldn't. But the way the screen protector doesn't line up with the edges of the display (especially around the notch and the two bottom corners) still pisses me off. Does anybody know the name of the company and product, and whether they've corrected the issue? I can provide photos if needed. edit: *that (in the title) [link] [comments]

Posted: 08 Oct 2018 12:27 PM PDT Anyone notice since the latest iOS release that you hit the enter key more often. I seem to hit it heaps more than I used to. [link] [comments]

Case for iPhone X that hides the "ears" ? Posted: 08 Oct 2018 11:04 AM PDT Does a case for the iPhone X exists such that it covers the "ears" ? (Hence making the top look like a bezel?) I've tried using black tape (and yes, you can still pull down the control center), but the tape looks a little out of place and falls off quite easily. I'd pay real money for a case that did this. “Sim card not installed” randomly during the day Posted: 07 Oct 2018 04:16 PM PDT Hey! Ever since updating to iOS 12 (beta), the version that was released right after the press conference in September, my iPhone X randomly displays the "SIM card not installed" error message and then the phone loses all cellular connectivity. It can happen at any random time. I have tried to reinstall iOS 12 (non-beta) through iTunes and tried downgrading to iOS 11.4, but the problems persists. iOS 12.1 (beta) did not fix it either. A simple restart sometimes do wonders for a few hours, but the error message keeps returning. Tomorrow I will reach out to the phone carrier's customer service to get a new SIM card. If that doesn't work either, I will have no choice other than giving my baby up for repair. Have any of you experienced this problem? [link] [comments]
