| iPad Pro iOS12/VGA Adapter no longer working? Posted: 08 Oct 2018 09:26 AM PDT So I use my iPad as a digital whiteboard for class. Lightning to VGA adapter for the projector, and then use GoodNotes to annotate PDF slides. I updated to iOS12 this weekend, not anticipating a problem, and go to teach this morning and my iPad no longer seems to recognize the adapter/projector. Anyone else run across this? Can't just share a public link?), and I'm not sending directly to macbook or iphone (airdrop), i want anyone i send a link to, whether windows/android/macbook/iPhone to be able to download it (not stream it like youtube).. But personally im looking for something that I can bring around and use in uni to take down notes and view lecture slides. I have seen videos where there was a new iPad ( the one without the home screen button, insanely small bezels etc. ) and it seemed so much better. So my question (s) is 1. Should I just pull the trigger to get the iPad Pro 10.5 2. Which would be better for uni ( the 10.5 or 12.9 ) 3. Should I wait for the next gen iPad Pro since I'm only starting uni in 4 months 4. I see the app called Player GR is identical. Can anybody me suggest how I might get back into PlayTube to export the playlists? | Note taking app with built in Browser? Posted: 07 Oct 2018 09:55 PM PDT I got the IPP 10.5 where split screen looks a bit small while taking notes and browsing in safari at the same time. Thus, i was looking for a note taking app which has a built in Browser to copy paste/clip from within the app. Ik about Notability but it's browser is pretty much limiting and works as a web clipper only. | Get backup from iPad mini with broken display and touch? Posted: 07 Oct 2018 02:50 PM PDT I've got an iPad mini that I want to get a backup of, but it isn't on my iCloud account and the display and touchscreen are broken. I've called the apple store and we spent an hour trying different methods, but we ended up empty handed. They can't get a backup due to security reasons, and can't take remote control of the device. I don't want to have to replace the display, so is there any way I can use a laptop or another computer to take remote control of the iPad, or some service where I can get a backup without having to put in the pass code or give the device permission?
