Can I have auto backups without needing to enter a password(or finger) at the lock screen ? Posted: 06 Oct 2018 11:47 PM PDT I want to have auto backup for iCloud on.but it requires a lock screen(right?). I also want to access my iPhone without an access code or finger id. My buddy locked himself out of his phone and can’t get back in Posted: 06 Oct 2018 06:56 PM PDT He said he had his phone in his pocket and it kept entering passcodes as it hit his leg. Anyway it's disabled and says to hook up to iTunes, I hook it up to the computer and it doesn't even show up on my computer. I hooked mine up to make sure it wasn't his cable messing up and my iPhone shows up. He's in quite the pickle. I read online that you can go through find my iPhone and wipe the phone and reset it that way but trying this through his iTunes account doesn't work, when you go to find my phone it says he has no devices. I don't know what else to tell him. He said he went to an Apple store and they weren't much help. Anyone come across anything like this? I believe he's just screwed. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 06 Oct 2018 12:08 PM PDT I recently deleted and reinstalled an app because it wasn't letting me use it properly for some reason, and now that it's reinstalled this is happening. https://imgur.com/gallery/oBRNVig It's showing up twice (I hadn't noticed it was doubled at first so that's why I put it in a folder while it was still in the process of downloading) but now I can't open or delete the one that's in the folder, but the other one works perfectly. Any idea how to fix this? [link] [comments] |
Problems restoring backup when upgrading to new iphone XR Posted: 06 Oct 2018 03:14 PM PDT Hello, So I was stupid and had a developer profile on my iphone 7s plus. So of course when I tried to restore with my newest update it said I needed ios 12.1 which I can't get on the new phone right away. So I tried removing the beta profile on the 7splus and then backing up , but that didn't seem to work other. So I saw I had a backup from a couple weeks ago when it was till ios12. Ok no problem it took about 30 minutes via wifi to restore. But then when it comes to the screen where all the apps are loading its taking forever. What can I do? Also, what happens if the previous phone had a larger storage than this one? Will the backup just fail or store in icloud. Any help would be great [link] [comments] |
“Saf” in safari search bar causes crash Posted: 06 Oct 2018 12:27 PM PDT I was trying to search for "safety" rules in football and discovered every time I type "saf" it causes safari to crash. Any idea why or what's going on? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 06 Oct 2018 06:14 AM PDT Hey guys I tried searching everywhere trying various tricks but with no help. Maybe somebody here will be able to find the culprit. I have three accounts on my iphone and with them three different contact groups. One is my iCloud and 2 others work related. I have every contact i need in work group 1 and 2 and NO contacts in iCloud group. Here comes the problem. When i want to use whatsapp/telegram/viamo etc (any app working with contacts) there are just no contacts at all - it seems these apps only seeing my icloud group but pls bear in mind all the groups have contacts enabled in passwords & accounts. Ofc if i add some contact to my iCloud group it then shows in whatsapp but i have more than 1500 contacts so its not possible to do it manually. Pls help this is driving me crazy. Thanks for replies [link] [comments] |
