It is one of the highest rated games on iOS. No phone port though, and there are 3 non essential in app purchases (which just make the game harder). I find the fist section at Los Santos very boring as it feels like a very long tutorial. Is it possible to load a save file from PC? What are some other games similar to Game Dev Tycoon? Posted: 22 Oct 2018 09:13 AM PDT I'm having a blast with it on iPad. I've reached about 40 years in so there's no more new consoles or stories happening, but I'm content with continuing so I can experiment with my own consoles and MMOs. When I'm ready, I'd love to check out similar games. Are there many out there that deal with gaming development? Also while you're here, are there any similar iOS games that are set around movies or TV production? And feel free to just recommend any similar business-y games you think I may enjoy, preferably (as in only) those that don't have IAPs. Happy to pay a one off price of course. Play as a ship / captain on a chessboard style map, clear each map to progress as far as you can before you die. Receive gems to upgrade certain aspects for future runs. Not seen any IAP and AppStore doesn't state any. Only gripe is broken English / some poor translation but it's good fun and can be played in short bursts. Any subscription based MMORPG’s? Posted: 22 Oct 2018 01:07 AM PDT Cannot stand freemium MMORPG's, used to play O&C back when it first came out and paid monthly but I know that changed to freemium a long time ago. Most of the MMORPG's on iOS seem to be auto quest, filled with ads/iap, p2w, not appealing/user friendly or only available in China or South Korea! Currently trying out the following games: Crusaders of Light - Auto quest, not great story & not a massive fan of the art style (Like sky landers or something? 👎) ToramOnline - Not great story, bored after reaching level 31, UI very rough around the edges. Iruna Online - Same as ToramOnline Lineage 2 Revolution - Auto quest! Nice art style. Order & Chaos 2 - P2W, nice art style and no auto quest! A lot of IAP thrown in your face though. Maple story - Not my thing, just not a fan. Rebirth, TERA, ragnorok, perfect world, Icarus, black desert - all games not available in my region which I would love to have tried. 😞 I am thinking O&C2 will be my best bet, just wish their was a subscription based MMORPG with no auto quest, WoW style art & gameplay and no necessary IAP only option ones. submitted by /u/ColossalPheonix [link] [comments]

When getting the pop up for the first quest i can click accept but then it freezes. Playing a game as a Cleric Posted: 21 Oct 2018 10:06 PM PDT I used to be really into mmorpgs and would always play as a cleric. I love melee DPS-ing with a mace and shield, casting spells, and self healing. I'm looking for a game that will satisfy my urge to do these things together on one character. I am open minded to the type of game and play style (action or turn-based), as long as I can melee, cast, and heal on my main character. I would like some character progression (i.e. leveling up, gear changing) and a decent story to follow. I like faster paced games with flashy animations. It would be even cooler if it was online and people could see my character, but it doesn't have to be. Would love to hear what options are available to me.
