Posted: 06 Oct 2018 06:30 AM PDT Hi all, I don't know if anyone here ever played it, but a few years ago, Ron Gilbert released a very curious game called "The Cave". It was a puzzle solving adventure mixed with a platform structure and a bit of RPG flavour to it, all with a very funny storyline. I loved it and I wanted to play again but it's been removed from the App Store. It was one of my favourite games of all time. I was totally hooked. It had so many different themes all mixed it's hard to list them all and it was quite relaxing because you could explore the cave freely and none of the puzzles were timed or anything. The characters were very interesting and the story changed based on which three you wanted to play with. Is there anything with a similar structure? Also, what's the funniest iOS game you've ever played? Thanks!! [link] [comments]

Recommendations for games like golf but not golf Posted: 06 Oct 2018 06:30 AM PDT So I love golf games and have played pretty much anything worth playing of regular golf games, my favorites being Neo Turf Masters and Desert Golfing. I am looking for other games that might give the same kind of gameplay feeling that I get from golf games. What I like about the golf genre is that you play mostly against yourself. Your mistakes are your own, but it is still possible to recover from a bad shot and still end up okay. Replaying the same course/level never gets boring and there is always room for improving your own score. I hope it makes sense :) Single player turn based (sort of) beat your own score type of games is what I am after. I am open to everything. Thanks in advance. [link] [comments]

Gaming with blockchain technology! Posted: 05 Oct 2018 07:15 PM PDT Anyone played the sandbox evolution on IOS? Pretty cool 2d game for the creative mind. Anyway i recently heard they are working on a 3d version of the game! I think for mobile platform once again.. Only this time its different! Built through blockchain technology, players are able to create their own individual items, as well as the world around it, upload them to the marketplace and sell! reaping 100% of the profits. Because it's through blockchain everything is traced back to the original creator so ownership cant be stolen or replicated. https://cryptobitgames.com/interview-with-the-sandbox-development-team/ here's an interview with the developer detailing a lot more about the game. I think the idea behind it and how it's built through blockchain is very exciting, and a new, safe and motivating direction for the future of gaming :) Curious to know what anyone's thoughts on it are?
