[Feature] Try Xr's Haptic Touch now on X/Xs by disabling 3D Touch Posted: 06 Oct 2018 05:04 AM PDT In earlier builds of iOS, disabling 3D Touch would also disable the flashlight and camera buttons on the lock screen. As of 12.1 betas (I think?) disabling 3D Touch retains the flashlight and camera buttons, and appears to use the Xr's "haptic touch" technique for activating the buttons. If you're curious, give it a go. It's nothing special, just thought it'd be interesting. [link] [comments] |
[Bug] Ios 12.1 b2 not receiving text notifications after changing date/time settings Posted: 06 Oct 2018 08:26 AM PDT (Please don't laugh at me for this) I decided to, after three-four years of not playing, redownload Terraria on my phone. I remembered that the mobile version had a halloween event that could be triggered by just changing your phones date. So i change the date and while playing i get some texts and reply to some. Flash forwards a bit and I change the date back to today. Now I'm not getting message notifications at all. Does anyone have a fix for this or am i screwed to live without notifications for the rest of my days. I already tried powering it off and turning it back on. Ps. I really don't want to resort to a full on reset so I'll use that option last. [link] [comments] |

[Bug] Screen Time causing battery drain Posted: 05 Oct 2018 12:44 PM PDT Hi everyone. So I was just browsing my news feeds and I stumbled across this post There seems to be a lot of consensus in there that screen time seems to be a serious culprit of battery drain, but the corroboration seems not nearly enough. I have had ST active since B1 on my 7 Plus and now again on my Max, so I don't really have a good frame of reference. I'm not the best beta tester in the world and kinda suck especially when it comes down to battery testing. Thanks in advance everyone [link] [comments] |
