I used to play Star Wars galaxy of heroes, clash of clans and clash Royale. I was pretty high up in all of them. Looking for another similar game, summoner wars seemed decent but looks very p2w Any suggestions

Are there any remotely decent coin pusher games?

    Posted: 06 Oct 2018 07:27 PM PDT

I've looked for a good coin pusher game, just something to kill a little time, but everything is cartoony and tacky and riddled with ads and lousy physics. Are there any with decent mechanics, maybe something like an idle/incremental game?

Action RPG with customization and fun combat (looking for one)

    Posted: 06 Oct 2018 10:15 PM PDT

Hey guys, title is fairly self explanatory. I'm currently playing and enjoying Iron Blade, i was wondering if there was anything similar to this game. Lots of character progression/customization with satisfying combat. I'm sure there are a ton like this I just don't know of them. Iron blade is cool and all but i'm starting to get a little bored of it. Reccomend anything! Thanks

Simple and addictive puzzle game - PathSlider

    Posted: 06 Oct 2018 07:29 PM PDT

I've recently started making games as a hobby and a couple of months ago I released my first game. It has gotten a really good response from the people that have played it, and I want to share it with more people.

The game is free in the complete no-strings-attached sense. No ads, in-app purchases, or data collection. I just want people to play it :)

Here is a link to the game in the app store

Let me know what you think!

Any good strategy games that are free?

    Posted: 07 Oct 2018 12:52 AM PDT

I'm looking for a strategy games. I would prefer something a bit like Advance wars (GBA game) but nothing that is hard to get your head around, like FE heroes. Any suggestions for any good strategy games are fine, as long as they are free.

    iOS Gaming no. 10: Shapeuku

    Posted: 06 Oct 2018 10:45 PM PDT

    Introduction

Hey folks! It's Syger, bringing to the light another edition of iOS Gaming. This week, I've puzzled out the writing in the sand and discovered a code for Shapeuku, a brain-twister fresh out of the oven. Drawing its inspiration from a mix of Sudoku and nonograms, it's definitely an interesting mix.

First and foremost I would like to thank the developer. Danny Birch, for sending me a review code on Reddit. Thanks Danny! Keep up the good work. Next, if you missed last week's article and would like to read it, click the link. If you would prefer to read it on Reddit, click this link instead. Lastly, if you have questions, critiques, or comments, please message me on Reddit, tag me on Discord in the Trinity Force Network server, or message me directly on Discord @Syger#2331. Now, let's dive in!

    Details

    Game: Shapeuku

    Developer: Danny Birch

    Price: $0.99

In-App Purchases: None, as far as the eye can see.

    Device used: iPhone XS Max

    The Review

Have you ever sat down to play Sudoku and thought, "Man, I wish there were fewer numbers… and maybe some shapes. Shapes would be good,"? If so, you're in luck: Shapeuku is the game for you. It's got grids, it's got shapes, it's got lovingly crafted puzzles—some of which are seriously challenging—and, best of all, it's an uninterrupted experience! No ads, no in-app purchases, no distractions. Just a quality, well crafted puzzle experience.

Although the early levels are not terribly difficult, and there are some pretty easy puzzles sprinkled throughout the game, don't be fooled! The truly diabolical challenges are there—they just take some time to prepare for an appearance. However, once they do, the hitherto peaceful atmosphere frequently yields to equal parts frustration and admiration as perceived solution after perceived solution meets its end in failure.

Fortunately (at least, it's fortunate if you're wearing headphones), there is another weight on the scale: The background music. It's incredibly calm, incredibly relaxing and, frankly, I think I might fall asleep listening to it while I write this. It is neither distracting nor obnoxious, instead fitting unobtrusively into the background as a quiet, gentle reminder to calm down, slow down, relax, enjoy the game.

While the gameplay and soundtrack are on point, the minimalist aesthetic is actually a bit lacking. While it is visually appealing, it doesn't quite convey information adequately. For example: The blue bars to the top and left of the main grid contain little squares which indicate the number of cells to be filled in that column or row. That's great, and works fine for grids under 5x5. But, once the larger and more difficult puzzle sizes of 7x7, 8x8, and 9x9 start to appear, the small squares are so numerous as to themselves be a small puzzle. Additionally (and this is a bit nitpicky) I would like to see some kind of distinguishing mark for each level. While it is stated that there are two hundred puzzles, how do I know which of the two hundred I am on?

In short, this is a great game for anyone who enjoys, even in passing, a decent puzzle. It has quick and easy challenges as well mind-bendingly difficult problems, enjoyable background music, and only minor aesthetic flaws. Best of all, it's super cheap! At only $0.99 on the App Store, you'll probably have a hard time getting a cup of coffee for cheaper, and you'll definitely enjoy this for longer.

    Conclusion

Thank you, one and all, for taking the time to read this week's article. Once again, thank you Danny Birch for the opportunity to review his game. I genuinely appreciate it, and hope he finds great success.

Additionally, I am interested in what you have to say! What games should I be looking at? Is there any other kind of content you would like to see? Perhaps a different writing style? Let me know by mentioning me on the Trinity Force Discord server, or sending me a message @Syger#2331! Alternatively, message or comment on Reddit.

    RAD Soldiers type game?

    Posted: 06 Oct 2018 05:45 PM PDT

Anyone play RAD Soldiers from Warchest years ago? I loved that game from the turn-based combat to the microtransactions. Looking for something similar and with an active player base, maybe something newer!

    Thanks!
