Autosleep and Heartwatch users Posted: 12 Oct 2018 07:12 AM PDT I got the apps on Monday and so far loving it my question is for those of you that have both. Do you just let it do its thing on auto or do you go into heartwatch and press start when you sleep? So far I just do the auto and was wondering if the other method is better or why you use one over the other? [link] [comments]

Infographic Modular - World Clock Analog Posted: 12 Oct 2018 08:21 AM PDT Is there any way to have the old World Clock complication that shows digital time? Currently using the Infographic Modular face, and all World Clocks show an analog face (while the top time is digital). Would like to have the old-style, digital, World Clock on the new Infographic Modular. Am I missing something basic? [link] [comments]
Posted: 12 Oct 2018 05:54 AM PDT Does anyone know how to keep the screen on during the swim? I'd love to be able to see my pace and what lap I'm on while swimming without having to stop. [link] [comments]
Posted: 12 Oct 2018 08:43 AM PDT Absolutely love my new series 4 watch and the infograph face. I wish there was a way for having the white in the daytime and when night shift happens (set sunset to sunrise) that it would shift to black so it doesn't blind at night. [link] [comments]
What are my options for a long sport-style strap for the 40mm series 4? Posted: 12 Oct 2018 08:34 AM PDT I've got a fairly large wrist and the M/L band barely fits on the last hole. There's a XL strap from Apple but only for the 44mm. What are my options for a non-leather strap for a 40mm that's longer than the stock M/L one? I've looked over Amazon here in Japan without luck. Posted: 12 Oct 2018 06:47 AM PDT I just realized that my Contacts don't appear on my new S4 watch. (And I never checked if they did on my S2.) I found myself without my iPhone handy and wanted to look up a phone number for a contact and to call using a (prehistoric) land line. :) No contacts app! On the Watch app on my iPhone it lists the Contacts App and the setting says "Mirror my phone". I now see that if I use the Phone app, I can get to my contacts but there doesn't seem to be a way to scroll through the list easily (got a LOT of contacts) nor does it appear that you can display the contact info (like the phone number)... the only thing you can do, it seems, is actually phone the contact or send a message. Is there any way to view the contact info on the watch? Including what might be in the notes field? Thanks! [link] [comments]
Which sleep apps provide automatic sleep tracking? Posted: 12 Oct 2018 06:46 AM PDT Which AW apps provide automatic sleep tracking...like my Fitbit. I don't want to have to start/stop anything I just wanna it to do its thing when I fall asleep and wake up. Oh...and how much are the apps? Thank you! [link] [comments]
Watch Reminders Complication - Reminder disappears after scheduled time even if not completed? Posted: 12 Oct 2018 06:45 AM PDT Is this normal behavior? I have a scheduled reminder for 9am every Wednesday and Friday, my phone still shows it on the lock screen but the Watch complication shows no reminders. [link] [comments]
Anyone having issues connecting their Apple Watch Series 4 to their cellular network? Posted: 12 Oct 2018 06:42 AM PDT I purchased an Apple Watch Series 4 with cellular connectivity from Apple recently and have been unsuccessful in connecting the watch to Bell which is my service provider here in Canada. I have been having back-and-forth phone conversations with Bell for the past week and a half and they can't seem to figure it out. They keep assuring me that they're working on it. I'm quickly losing patience. Has anyone else gone through something similar with either Bell or any other service provider and managed to correct the problem? If so, any insight would be appreciated. To those downgraders out there (44/42mm --> 40mm): give it a go! Posted: 12 Oct 2018 12:32 AM PDT I like them big (yeah, you can make that joke...). When I first switched from Android to iPhone I got a 6S and I could never understand people buying an SE a year later (to each their own). Apple Watch S0 released and I didn't hesitate going for the 42mm even though I have chicken wrists (150mm). This gen, of course, I went for a 44mm not even considering 40mm. Why would I? But then I had to return it due to the fact that my carrier just announced support for eSIM and I got the GPS only watch. Apple run out of stock so I had to wait to get my hands on an LTE. Something happened during the wait. I started to see people with similar wrists wearing a 40mm and they looked awesome. Tried a 40mm myself and it looked way more comfortable than the 44. The watch would go under the shirt or sweater effortlessly and I wouldn't see a huge gap between my wrist and the watch band so I decided to buy the 40mm (those ones are easier to find these days). First impression? Shit, I made a mistake, this is too small! It's not easy to go back from 44 to 40. I'm not gonna lie. But if you give it some time the 40mm will grow on you. Their advantages for us chicken wristers are great. A watch is a personal choice and I know regular watches out there are quite big but if you have a small wrist like mine don't rule out the 40mm without trying it. You might realize, like I did, that it's more adequate if you want it to look like a watch on your wrist and not a "device" mounted on it. Give it a go! [link] [comments]
Activity and Exercise highly exaggerated, even in 5.0.1? Posted: 12 Oct 2018 06:28 AM PDT Anyone else have this problem? Since watchOS 5, my S1 has been closing rings like crazy even though I live a very sedentary lifestyle outside of the gym (which I do not go to anywhere close to daily). 5.0.1 was supposed to fix this problem, but for me it hasn't. It's dissuading me from going through with my S4 purchase, currently on backorder through T-Mobile. [link] [comments]
Battery life varies a lot under what seems like the same load each day Posted: 12 Oct 2018 06:16 AM PDT I have a fairly standard routine for using my watch each day. Yet for whatever reason the watch will sometimes last two days and other times, like now, it's already down to 80% while only having been off the charger for two hours. Do y'all have any ideas about what might be going on in the background that could so dramatically affect battery life? [link] [comments]
Series 4 still showing now playing badge when media has stopped playing? Posted: 12 Oct 2018 06:09 AM PDT This issue happening for anyone else? A few times now I've been listening to a podcast and even after stopping the podcast, the now playing badge at the top of the screen won't go away. Only way I have found to get rid of it is to restart the watch. This only happens sometimes. Any idea why? [link] [comments] |
