    Heart Monitor Question

    I have a S3, Software 4.3.1 - I've noticed that recently when I've gone back and checked my heart rate data, there are times when I KNOW I manually checked my pulse without the watch, and there is just NO WAY that the readings it took were accurate. I'm talking my pulse being like maybe 70-80 and when I look back it says 120-130. I know the difference between those two, too, I walk half a mile to work everyday and my pulse can get up to 120, so I am fully aware of what that exertion feels like.

    Also, for all of you who will say "get it checked out by your doctor" - I already did so in March/April. Had blood tests, EKGs, echocardiogram, and wore a holter Monitor for 2 days. All came back normal. Apple had the audacity after the fact to tell me to go to the doctor again, despite having a completely clean bill of health, instead of admitting there might be a glitch. Anyone experience anything similar to this?

    undecided on Purchasing Used Vs. New

    I want to purchase a watch but I am conflicted in buying a new one for about $430 (42mm GPS+Cellular) or a used one from Offer Up for about $275-$300. I was hoping to see a sale from Target where you get $100 gift card with a watch purchase, but haven't seen one.

    Has anyone had any luck with a used one? I would test it to make sure it works, but I am just worried I would get a dud.

    Is there a way to use the apple watch as JUST a watch? Like, offline?

    I am going on a cruise to Alaska and much of the time I will be completely without wi-fi and cell service. Is there a way to make my apple watch into JUST a watch that I can set to local or ship time?

    What direction should the sport loop face?

    Loop on the bottom or loop on the top?

    How do you guys wear yours? Apple's website have the "thick" end at the bottom, but I remember very clearly some marketing materials showing it the other way around.

    Getting notifications for apps that aren't installed

    My Apple Watch had a bit of a meltdown in May, so I did a factory reset and set it up as new. Then I got a new phone, and it wouldn't unpair from the old phone, so I had to do it again. I finally got it set up with my new phone, and I'm hesitant to start from scratch a third time in as many months.

    However...I get notifications on my watch for apps that I don't have installed, or that don't even seem to exist. I get Gmail notifications on my watch every day. Words With Friends notifies me when someone plays in our game. I'm pretty sure I got a Lyft notification the other day when I took a Lyft somewhere. None of these apps even say they're available to install in the Watch app. The common thread is that they used to be available, and I had them installed back then. But since I did two factory resets, shouldn't they have totally disappeared?

    Or is the Watch app bugging out, and these apps actually do exist for the Apple Watch? I feel like I'm going a little crazy here. While I do like the Gmail notifications, I could do without some of the others, but currently have no way to make them stop. Any advice would be appreciated!

    Why doesn’t messages on watch sync with messages on iPhone?

    I have the settings set to "mirror my phone" but it isn't completely doing that. When I delete a thread in messages on my phone it still keeps it on watch. So after a few weeks I have to go on my watch and re/delete all the threads that should already be deleted. Am I doing something wrong or is this a known bug. Thanks in advanced.

    Just wanted some feedback on purchasing non "Apple" branded watch bands and everyone's experiences with them. I really enjoy the nike style watch bands and I really want the "flash" color one, but I was wondering if anyone has ever gotten the off brand ones that look almost identical and can give me some feedback on them. They go for about 15$ or so on amazon opposed to 50$ on apples site, thank you!

    Nike+ RC question

    So I'm a bit confused about how the Nike+ Run Club app works on the Apple watch. I started my run on my phone and put it away in my pocket, but the watch app doesn't seem to display time and length. Do these 2 apps not work together?

    With apps like RunKeeper I can start it on my phone, and see progress on my watch when starting the app there.

    I would absolutely love to be able to use the layout that the Apple Watch uses during nightstand mode during the day. I like that the time is big, the date is at the top, and there's a space on the left for activity / weather / whatever. I know you can use the X-Large layout, but it's not the same.     Will WatchOS 4 on Series 0 could be connected to Watch app in iOS 12?
    I've got really nice offer to buy it new and sealed with warranty from the local shop and I only need information that I'll be even able to use it on newest iOS.

    Series 3 LTE question

    Hello! I'm getting a series 3 this week but I am still struggling between the GPS version and the LTE. Is the LTE worth the extra bucks plus the carrier fee?

    I will be using my apple watch for indoor workouts mostly (gym, yoga, swimming) and the occasional outdoors run. Need advice. Thanks!

    Will Activity still upload from my Series 3 to my iPhone once i get it back?

    My iPhone has gone in for repair and I'm going to be without it for around 10 days. My activity is still recording on my watch everyday but I'm not sure if it will post back the history to my watch when I restore my iPhone?
