| I'm not getting notifications for iMessage but only for one person Posted: 19 Jun 2018 05:05 PM PDT I've already checked to see if the problem was because my iCloud was linked to other devices, that didn't seem to be the problem. I made sure "Hide notifications" was turned off. I was receiving texts from other people but not this particular contact, as far as I know no changes have been made to her settings nor mine. I've had issues before with not being notified of texts but usually it was for one or two and I assume it was just because I was closing the app as it came in, so the app marked it as seen when I myself hadn't seen it. But this time I haven't been getting notifications for the past one or two hours. My friend also says she has not been getting read receipts during this time from me. [link] [comments]  |

| Iphone battery drain after screen replacement Posted: 19 Jun 2018 06:12 AM PDT After probably thousands of times of accidentally dropping my Iphone 5s onto the kitchen floor, the screen finally smashed. I tried to use it for a little bit before getting a glass splinter, so I decided to take it in to a phone repair store today and get it fixed. Anyhow, got it fixed, got a case (probably should have had one on it before) and it seemed to be working fine. Now that I'm properly using it, I've realised the batteries draining REALLY fast. It was up at around 30% then dropped to 4% in a few minutes, put it on charge and it get's back up to 24%. It did this whilst not on charge either. If I turned my data on it would drain down, then I'd put it in air plane mode and it'd go back up without needing to charge it. Anyone know what's happened here/what I can do? I'm really frustrated and don't really have the money to replace the battery at the moment. It only started happening after getting the screen replaced, could have they done something to it? While its frozen it turns on and off like normally with the power button but its a bit delayed and buggy.
