Posted: 31 May 2018 07:28 PM PDT I am using iPhone 7 plus and have been on 11.3 for quite some time now expecting a jailbreak.IOS 11.4 update hit yesterday. When I woke up my phone was in BOOTLOOPS i.e it won't power on and apple logo kept coming back again and again. I googled this problem and most of the solution was to update using iTunes or restore using iTunes. Now I am downloading my update and I still don't why that BOOTLOOP problem occurred. Other solutions to this problem would be appreciated and would could be my options if my phone works after the update? [link] [comments] |
Need help transferring large video (47 Gigs) to computer Posted: 31 May 2018 07:04 PM PDT I have a project that was all filmed on an iphone and I now need to transfer it to my computer but it continues to say the file format (.mov) is unreadable. The file size is also always 0 bytes if I find the file and try to copy it to my desktop. [link] [comments] |
What kind of restrictions can I put on my grandma’s phone without her noticing? Posted: 31 May 2018 06:03 PM PDT My grandma signs up for too much dumb shit. She must be stopped. Is there any way I can stop her from giving away all her info and mine ? Any iPhone apps? I've talked to her about it but if something looks good (too good to be true) she will sign up for it. I tried blocking some sites but I guess you can't on chrome on iPhone ? I just don't want her to know. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 31 May 2018 11:48 AM PDT So, this is a first for me. Im trying to call a certain number- never called it before. But everytime i call, all i get is silence then beep beep beep and then it says call ended and just stops trying. I have tried calling others and it works fine. But i dont know what the three beeps means. Is it an issue on their end or mine? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 31 May 2018 04:16 PM PDT My sister's iPhone was with our younger brother. He likes disabling it by tapping in wrong passwords. He disabled it for 15 minutes, then 15 minutes, then an hour, and then permanently. Now, it says I have to connect it to iTunes. The problem is my sister never synced it on her computer using iTunes. I tried connecting it to my iTunes but I got an error. [link] [comments] |
Taking out pictures from iPhone 4S Posted: 31 May 2018 02:44 PM PDT Hello, I have some pictures on my iphone 4 that i would like to import to my computer but the problem is that the phone cant be charged, something is broken there so it stays at 0% battery no matter what. Now i havent looked into fixing that part, but is it possible to somehow open the phone and take the memory card from there and to put it in my computer? [link] [comments] |
iPhone speaker no longer working & when using headphones voice control activates - is this related? Posted: 31 May 2018 02:27 PM PDT As above, my iPhone 6s speaker no longer works. When speaking on the phone I can still hear people, however if I change to speaker or try to listen to music etc nothing comes out. I'm not connected to anything via Bluetooth. Recently when using corded headphones (not Bluetooth) the voice control continuously activates (about 5-10 seconds after dismissing the last one when, say, watching a YouTube video with sound on my corded headphones). Are these two problems related? Siri has been disabled on my device. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 31 May 2018 01:29 PM PDT For a few weeks my brand new iphone has been ghost touching like crazy. at first it wasn't toooo bad but now it's unbearable to the point where I want to throw it out a window. It's calling people (my ex), using apps, you name it. I reset it a bunch of times, turned it off and on, cleaned the screen, even bent it a little maybe thinking the balance or something was off. It's still going on! Would like to avoid going to Apple as much as I can. Any suggestions? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 31 May 2018 07:00 AM PDT Hello, my phone has started freezing/crashing apps trying to open and just freezing with the keyboard typing. Currently trying to sign into Facebook through another app and I can't type in the email without it freezing and taking 1-2 mins to finish typing what I already finished tapping. Currently on 11.3 update, will try to update and see if 11.4 fixes anything but I'm holding my breath. [link] [comments] |
Problem with the backup of the iPhone Posted: 31 May 2018 08:22 AM PDT Hello I am trying to backup my iPhone on an external drive, but everytime I follow these steps (http://osxdaily.com/2016/03/04/backup-iphone-to-external-hard-drive-mac/), I get this error: "The operation can't be completed because the original item for "Backup" can't be found." I want to backup my iPhone using iTunes, but I have no storage left in my computer, so I want to use a external drive. Any help? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 31 May 2018 07:02 AM PDT No matter what volume level my phone is at (ringer or Volume) any alarm I have plays at FULL VOLUME. This even happens when I'm choosing a tone for the alarm. I can lower the volume for that tone and as soon as I go to the next one, it's back to full volume. Anyone know what's going on or should I schedule a genius meeting? [link] [comments] |
So I repaired a bricked iPhone 6+, what are the chances it gets bricked again? Posted: 30 May 2018 11:56 PM PDT A while ago, my sister had her 128GB iPhone 6+ brick due to interrupting a system update. People at the nearby Apple store couldn't seem to have fixed the problem, but I recently did (I have no idea how I did, I'm gonna guess it was luck) and my sister said she wanted me to have it ("recently" as in "earlier today" I fixed it). I managed to get it through setup and I want to put my SIM card in my 64GB iPhone 6 into this 6+, but I'm worried this will result in me bricking the device and maybe even corrupting the SIM card (it seemed that way when I put my sister's old SIM into the 6+). Is there any high chance I could brick the device again or is it safe to use? EDIT: So now the 6+ is just restarting at random times, for no reason whatsoever. Is this anything to worry about?
