    [Discussion] Here’s a list of some tweaks I’ll be using once the JB is out. Would you like to comment on these and maybe share some other tweaks you find useful/awesome?

    I've been compiling a list of tweaks I'll try out after the Electra jailbreak is released, but I'd like the opinion of the community on these tweaks in case you've used them before and also if you'd like to share some of the tweaks you currently use or will use. Thank you in advance, and here's my list:

    BioProtect X - Lock any app, folder and even the device from turning off using Face ID/Touch ID. Repo: limneos.net/repo

    FastUnlockX - Unlock the device with Face ID/Touch ID without having to swipe up from the lock screen, but in case there are notifications it won't go to the home screen until you swipe up or disable that feature. Repo: beta.cpdigitaldarkroom.com

    TapTime - By tapping the time on the status bar/notch, it'll show the date for a few seconds before going back to showing the time. Repo: repo.sparkservers.co.uk

    MusicDockX - By swiping up on the dock, it'll show a really beautiful aesthetic music player widget. Repo: repo.sparkservers.co.uk

    Apps Manager - Wipe, backup, restore installed apps data. Repo: tigisoftware.com/cydia

    Zeppelin - Edit carrier displayed name. (I hate that mine is a huge word instead of the 4 letter plan I have, so imma change that). Repo: repo.alexzielenski.com/

    PreferenceLoader - Puts the tweaks installed showing up on settings next to other apps so you can find them easily and edit the preferences of those tweaks, really useful. Repo: rpetri.ch/repo

    InteliX - For grouped notifications. Repo: packix.ioscreatix.com

    SwipeForMore - Swipe on tweaks inside Cydia for more options, also useful. Repo: cydia.saurik.com/package/org.thebigboss.swipeformore

    SneakyCam - Record a video without having to open up the camera app and without having the camera app opened. It's activated by double pressing the volume up key. I find it useful for the fact that I can record a video without having to be on the camera app, so I can go into other apps while recording. (It shows it is recording with a red dot on the notch/status bar) Repo: repo.sparkservers.co.uk

    ToggleSafe - To go into Safe Mode by hitting back and forth the mute button in case I need to troubleshoot due to some tweaks conflicts or such. I'm not sure if I'll use this tweak tho, as I've seen many others for this purpose so I'll have to see which one is the best. Repo: legitcomputerwhisperer.github.io

    TapTapFlip - Double tap on the camera to flip between the front facing camera and the rear back camera. (Just like in Snapchat and Instagram) Repo: cydia.saurik.com/package/com.cpdigitaldarkroom.taptapflip/

    DismissProgress - To dismiss the progress and continue browsing Cydia after installing a tweak. Repo: apt.thebigboss.org/repofiles/cydia

    EasySwitcherX - Swipe up apps to kill them instead of having to hold down first. Repo: repo.sparkservers.co.uk

    Eclipse X - Nightmode (Still in doubt because it's paid, so I'm gonna have to check it out first to see if it's worth it). Repo: gmoran.me/repo/

    Ext3nder Installer - Sign Electra and other apps directly from your device. Repo: midnightchip.github.io/repo/

    Filza File Manager - You know this one for sure. Repo: tigisoftware.com/cydia/

    Flame - Export your tweaks and source lists. Repo: cydia.saurik.com/package/com.aditkamath.flame/

    FrontCamUnMirror - Finally. No more mirrored selfies. Repo: cydia.myrepospace.com/sticktron

    iCleaner (Pro) - Thank you for this one, dev. Repo: ib-soft.net/cydia/

    ForceInPicture- Able to keep watching a video while using other apps, look this one up, it's really useful. Repo: cydia.saurik.com/package/com.cabralcole.forceinpicture/

    Liberty - If it gets updated to 11.3.1, to bypass jailbreak detection on certain apps. Repo: ryleyangus.com/repo/

    MakeCydiaBuyAgain - Name says it all. Repo: jakeai.github.io/

    MitsuhaXI - Wave sound effect on music app and Spotify. Repo: repo.c0ldra1n.gq/

    NoMoreSmallApps - For those apps that aren't optimized for the iPhone X notch. Repo: beta.sparkservers.co.uk/

    RealCC - To actually turn OFF the WiFi and Bluetooth from CC. Repo: jakeashacks.com/cydia

    TapticKeys or HapticKeyboard - Adds haptic feedback to the keyboard and system UI, which is awesome. Repo: repo.sparkservers.co.uk

    TweakCompatible - To check which tweaks are compatible of course. Repo: cydia.saurik.com/package/bz.jed.tweakcompatible/

    WiFi Passwords - Check what's the password for a WiFi network you've connected to previously. Great for those moments when only you know the password but your friends don't, so they ask you. Repo: cydia.saurik.com/package/com.malcolmhall.wifipasswords/

    EzCC - Add more modules to the CC. Repo: repo.m4cs.xyz/ Or CCModules - Same purpose as EzCC but I need to check it it's more stable and safer. Repo: jb365.github.io/

    I'm not sure if all these tweaks will be compatible with iOS 11.3.1 or if they'll work flawlessly so I'll have to keep that in mind before installing them or after installing them.

    EDIT1: Formatting and addition of some other tweaks suggested by others.

    EDIT2: Adding repos for some tweaks, I'll try to find the repos for all tweaks posted here.

    [Upcoming] SkipSkip - A YouTube styled video player interface for all video-playing apps (Netflix, Twitch, Twitter, and more)

    Most apps don't have the highly suggested double-tap-to-skip feature that YouTube has.

    SkipSkip will allow users to completely customize any video player interface and completely change it to what they like the most.

    This tweak will be completely free. Source code will be posted later this week, as I am not finished yet.

    My latest jailbroken device was my 6S on iOS 10, but with the Electra updating to 11.3.1 soon a reality and having an X, which tweaks would you install directly? I'm really hyped for a new jailbreak as I've been without one for a year.

    [Tutorial] How to downgrade from any version to iOS 11.3.1 without losing data (requires blobs)

    Yes, you do need to have blobs saved for this to work.

    Steps:

    1. Download iOS 11.3 beta 6 from The iPhone Wiki
    2. Downgrade with Option + Update (Mac) or Shift + Update (Windows) in iTunes.
    3. Install noncereboot1131UI, either the paid developer version or the free empty_list version.
    4. Open your SHSH blobs in a text editor, and search for "generator". Copy the value that follows it. https://i.imgur.com/5sP3Mhr.png
    5. Run noncereboot1131 and enter that value into the generator field, then hit enter. Reboot your device
    6. Download futurerestore from encounter's futurerestore fork
    7. Run futurerestore as such: ./futurerestore -t [blob].shsh2 --latest-baseband --latest-sep [1131ipsw].ipsw -u -w
    8. That's it. Your device should update without losing data. If you get the message that the APNonce doesn't match, you likely set your generator to the wrong value. If it fails, run ./futurerestore --exit-recovery

    [Discussion] There's no doubt that Saurik is one of the most important people in the jailbreak scene, but can we stop treating him like he is some god that is impossible of doing anything wrong?

    Let me be clear. Saurik is important, as one of the founders of the jailbreaking scene when he created Cydia and worked with some OG developers after the launch of the first iPhone in 2007. He has made so much useful code and programs, it's impossible to deny his utter importance. However, he recently he made claims many months ago about him working on multiple jailbreak utilities such as Cydia Substrate and allowing purchases in Cydia. Yes I know, he has a life, and has other things to do. But he made claims, although vague, that he WAS working on these tools and would be releasing them in the coming months; which hasn't happened. I am not a "wen eta" person, I wait for my jailbreaks. I wait for stable releases. But I don't think it's right to just make vague claims about working on and eventually releasing tools soon, and not do so. Saurik has this god-like presence on here which seems to make him impervious to criticism. Sometimes i'll see people make comments like these, which usually get down-voted to oblivion. But I have balls and I will say how I see fit. Down-vote this, I really don't care. But don't just use ad-hominems and name calling. If you want to discuss this, comment respectfully and be civilized. This community IS capable of that, but it usually gets drowned out by the toxicity. And at the end of the day, i'd say a lot of people would agree with me. But what do I know? That's just my opinion and I needed to vent this. Thank you to anyone who actually read this whole block of text and didn't just scroll through it.
