Posted: 20 Jun 2018 10:28 AM PDT While the responses are usually always the same wording, the fact that I get a response to a bug report letting me know that the latest build may have fixed the bug, helps me know that my bug reports are actually being noticed and helping make the final release version a whole lot better. And I only get responses to some reports over a course of a few days after the newest beta comes out, so it does not feel like they're just responding to every single bug request by default, even if that bug might not have actually been fixed. [Feature] Is there a way to turn off the vibration when using Touch ID to unlock your phone? Posted: 20 Jun 2018 09:43 AM PDT Due to my job, i always have my phone on vibrate. That way I can feel when a text or mail is coming in. With this new feature, every time I use Touch ID to unlock my phone, I get the same vibration yhat I get when I get a text and its hella confusing and annoying? [link] [comments]

[BUG] iOS 12 Beta 2 - HomePod cannot hear voice anymore Posted: 20 Jun 2018 01:22 AM PDT New bug to throw into the mix, my HomePod running the latest stable build is unable to hear my commands now despite me standing right next to it. It just states "one moment.....just a sec..... apologies but I didn't hear what you said." [link] [comments]
Posted: 19 Jun 2018 12:39 PM PDT Just going by the fact that how good iOS 12 Developer Beta 1 was and how smooth iOS 12 Developer Beta 2 is turning out to be, it hands down seems to me that iOS 12 is going to be the best release Apple has come out with. I love the fact that in iOS 12 Apple has concentrated on improving and adding the little features that matter instead of adding a plethora of features like they did in iOS 11 (which was an absolute nightmare when the public roll out happened). Some people might hate on me for saying this but this is exactly what Google does. They don't introduce huge flashy features in their yearly updates rather just put out incremental updates\features. I think this 2 year cycle (1st year revamp new release + 2nd year concentrating on performance) is going to turn out well, if that is Apple's strategy from now on at all. Thoughts anyone? :) [link] [comments]

Posted: 20 Jun 2018 09:56 AM PDT I think one of my top favorite features in iOS 12 is prompting me to let it create a strong password for me. It's a great way to get people to stop using the same password for everything. You can even ask Siri "what's my password for amazon" and it scans your face or finger and shows you and you can copy and paste it. I'll be using this from now on. [link] [comments]
