    It's been a long time since I've used iOS, but I'm considering picking up an iPad or iPad mini. However, I don't have a pc or mac in the house - only Chromebooks.

    Would I need to do any syncing or activation via iTunes to activate and use an iPad, or is that no longer a thing?

    I need to do a simple 2d floor plan and I want to do it on my ipad. I just need to be able to draw walls to scale. Something really simple.

    Best games to play on iPad Pro?

    What are some good visually stunning games to play on the iPad Pro? I've already played PUBG which is pretty fun but I wish there were more options to play on the IPP. I mostly liked to play Starcraft 3 and Warcraft 3 on the computer but not a huge gamer overall

    iPad for programmer

    Hi. I got an iPad few months ago and I like it as multimedia device. But once at couple of weeks I think about buying a keyboard for it for some programming tasks. But I am not sure: does it worth it's price. I see one use case for iPad + keyboard - use it as lightweight SSH client with VIM/Emacs. Important detail: I am not a web-developer :). So how do you use your iPads for programming?

    Stop dock showing apps running on Mac/iOS

    When I use my Mac, it shows the app I have on my iPad in the dock.

    When I use my iPad, it shows the app I have open on the Mac.

    Is there any way to stop this?

    I have the new iPad pro 12.9 space grey version. It's two weeks old and today I noticed that when I use the apple pencil the screen bends slightly from the pressure. Is that normal?

    My iPad started crashing and rebooting all on its own today. It crashed three during some less intensive CPU work. Anyone who might know what's wrong with my iPad?

    iPad Air 2 Not Charging iOS 11.4

    I've gotten this on and off ever since iOS 11 first came out so I keep my iPad plugged in all the time. Well this past week I had to use it for Uber eats and unplugged it and now I can't get it to charge. Occasionally it will say appliance may not be supported. I'm using a third-party cord that I've had no issues with before and it's plugged in to an Apple wall charger. Any ideas?

    FIXED: tried another cord.

    Is anyone having screen rotation issues on iPad with 11.3.1? Sometimes my screen doesn’t rotate when I change orientation and my rotation lock is always off

    As above. Considering getting myself and girlfriend iPads but don't want to pay for extra sim contracts. If anyone has tested this please advise.

    And is iPad nano sim? I think that's what is in our 6 & SE.

    Recommand me some apps - Ipad Pro

    Hey all,

    Just got an Ipad pro and want some interesting apps. I already bought Notability, Procreate is on my list.

    I'll be using the ipad for normal webbrowsing and social media stuff. The reason I got the pro is because I want to use it to write out ideas and plans for my home renovation and possibly bring it to work to manage my schedule and tasks. (Also sidenote, I'm interested in learning how to draw)

    What do you guys recommand?

    I'm interested in getting an iPad, and i'm leaning heavily towards the 10.5" pro, as my main uses will be comic reading and doing digital art, and I'm not sure the 2018 iPad'll quite meet my needs. Best Buy's running a sale on the pros at the moment, and I'm tempted, but I'm wondering-with the Fourth being soon, should I hold off and wait for possible sales then, or jump on the one I've found now?

    Looking at buying these ipads not sure which is best

    Yeah so basically I've got my eyes on these three guys. iPad Air 2, iPad mini 4 and the new iPad 2017 model. Looking at space being between 32gb to 64gb. Now all I'll simply be doing is netflix, youtube probably fortnite gaming, facebook, instagram and maybe snapchat.

    Now I've looked at the tech specs of each three tablets and I'm a person who likes to receive updates all new features etc.. so yeah pretty much which one should I get? I've previously had an tablet that was only 7 inches and was a pile of ass.

    Hi all,

    I just bought an iPad Pro 10.5" and I love it. I sold my laptop and now use this as my primary device. My issue is that i often lie in bed to watch shows and the Apple Keyboard case doesn't cut it for me, to get the right angle, the ipad just falls flat towards because it's only held up by a stand at the rear.

    I need some sort of stand \ case that is more stable and locates the ipad not simply by "leaning" against a rear support.

    I'd prefer to spend as little money as possible because I already have the apple keyboard case and this is simply for just lying in bed watching shows of a night.

    evernote vs google drive for storing documents

    which do you prefer? obviously price is different but I mainly want an app that will store all my old notes taken on Notability so I have access to them whenever. Also other important documents as well for my business

    I want something that is easy to transfer as after each semester I will transfer and have a "clean slate" on Nobility

    I'm thinking of buying a 2018 iPad since i'm a college student and would appreciate the apple pencil as it will feel like regular writing however i already own a MacBook pro, is an iPad worth it? What other usage is suggested for iPad other than note taking?
