| [Help] Did this person block me? Posted: 24 May 2018 11:50 PM PDT Okay, so I sent my gf a message and it didn't deliver. I thought this was strange so I checked on my Mac and on iMessage on my Mac it did say the message was delivered. About 5 minutes go by and it sends as a text message from my phone, the delivered message on my Mac then changes to green and says sent via sms on iPhone. Also when clicking on her location is says "location not available" Did she block me? PS her phone is rarely ever off [link] [comments]  |

| Proximity sensor question for iPhone 7 Plus. Posted: 24 May 2018 03:42 PM PDT I have an iPhone 7 Plus running on iOS 11.3.1. And just today I noticed that if I cover the proximity sensor the screen automatically turns off. Then turns back on when I uncover it. No matter what app I'm in. Whether on a phone call (which makes sense), on the home screen, or scrolling reddit. Now either my phone updated and I didn't know, or this feature has always been there and I'm just discovering this. Is there anyway to turn this off, or at least adjust the proximity sensor?? | Posted: 24 May 2018 08:22 AM PDT My wife's iPhone 6 just stopped responding to all input yesterday, if she lets it go to the lock screen. She can manually turn it off and on, but when it goes to lock screen the first time, it becomes unresponsive completely. She tried updating it, factory reset, and backup, no dice. This sounds VERY suspicious since she has an aftermarket replaced screen, and the 11.3 patch fixed an issue where the iPhone8 became unresponsive with an after market screen. Anybody have tips on how we might be able to get this thing useable again? All this two days after she bought a brand new iPad too, so not exactly thrilled. [link] [comments]  |
| iTunes help between iPhone and Mac Posted: 24 May 2018 08:07 AM PDT Hey so I've been having this problem for a while now, to make a long story short my Mac had to be reset due to a problem with switching between Mac and Windows mode. Over the years I had been downloading my music by "alternate means"(please no judgement) and the original MP3 files were lost when that happened. My iPhone however still has all the files and I want to know what would happen if I were to sync with iTunes. My immediate thought is that it will wipe the phone since iTunes doesn't have anything which is why I haven't done anything but now I making a plea for help on how to get the MP3 files from my iPhone to my computer. Any help would mean so much to me as my music has helped me through the years and I would absolutely hate to lose it all. [link] [comments]  |

| New iPhone SE, crashing and possible battery swelling Posted: 24 May 2018 02:15 AM PDT Hi. I bought my (unlocked 128G American) SE at the end of March, and after about a month, the phone started crashing at very strange percentages. 40%, 60%, etc. There're also patches of blue discoloration in the display, though I've not dropped the phone. The touch sensitivity isn't really great either- my near year-old iPad ha better responsiveness. Now, I didn't get a notification for the battery replacement until very recently, maybe two days ago, and today I noticed that the light from the phone was bleeding through the left side of the iPhone. When I took it out of the case (a speck case), I saw that the left side of the phone's screen is starting to lift off. I can almost see the insides of the phone if I look close enough. Some say online that the phone could explode if exhibiting this problem-is this true??? Can I keep using it? My big question is, with AppleCare+, can I expect a full phone replacement or just the battery replaced? Especially since it's less than 6 months old and the screen is popping off? I'm currently working abroad in Japan so I'll either have to fly home for the repair/swap (can't stand the shutter sound which Japanese phones are legally unable to disable), or mail it home to family to have them get it repaired or replaced. I'd prefer a full device replacement because I can't afford to keep sending it off for repairs or fly out myself should something go wrong again. Any advice is appreciated! The phone is a navigation/translation workhorse for me, so a problem of this magnitude is quite distressing. Thank you! [link] [comments]  |
| Posted: 24 May 2018 12:34 AM PDT Hey all, My iPhone is stuck on the Facebook App. When I click on my notifications, for example a text, the notification disappears but my phone stays on the Facebook app. My phone screen is still on at the moment, but I know for a fact when I the screen shuts off, I won't be able to use my iPhone until the battery is completely drained and charged (to restart it) I was wondering if there is a way to restart it? My home button is broken. I tried using assisitive touch to hold the Lock button, but the option to slide to power off does not appear. Any help is appreciated! [link] [comments]  |
