Posted: 10 May 2018 04:53 PM PDT So, a little backstory: I have a pretty new baby, and my wife and I often stay up after she goes to sleep to watch movies. However, our house is small, and sound travels quite well to her room, so we often have to watch movies so quiet that I need subtitles on. I just bought a pair of AirPods, however, and had a revelation last night when I wondered if I could connect them to the Apple TV. LO! IT WORKS! But, of course, it only outputs audio to one Bluetooth device at a time :( So, my question is this: are there any good options for a Bluetooth hub of sorts that will connect to my Apple TV as an audio device, and has multiple 3.5 mm ports for wired headphones? I've found one option on the googles, but it didn't seem ideal. [link] [comments] |
Infuse + Plex Cloud server integration - problems Posted: 10 May 2018 01:37 PM PDT Hi, After Infuse added long awaited Plex integration I decided to test it and found weird case. So I have access to friend's server that is created in Cloud and files are stored on GDrive. When I added Plex server to my Infuse on iOS or tVOS I found only some of the files are seen screenshot - basically mkv copies from BR. All other files are google: garbage. Anyone encounter such things? Does Google encrypting files on their drive? Within Plex all files are on their places and everything works. [link] [comments] |
Old HDTV - out of luck for remote? Posted: 10 May 2018 11:05 AM PDT So after a year, I recently figured out you could and how to utilize the Apple TV remote to control the actual television set itself. Yes, I'm slow on the uptake. In my bedroom I have a 10 year old Vizio HDTV, and I just can't get it to work. I've scoured the inter webs and reddit but with all the tips I can't figure out how to make this work. Maybe it's just too old a TV? [link] [comments] |
HDMI version of 3rd generation ATV? Posted: 10 May 2018 05:49 AM PDT I know it's 1.4 for the 4th gen, but I can't seem to find the detailed specs of the HDMI connection for the 3rd. [link] [comments] |
