- Seriously can’t figure out why this is happening. When I click Manage it just says it’s all System and offers nothing further. Would you delete the whole thing and start over?

2013 Macbook Pro Unibody. Worth Putting Money Into it? Posted: 11 May 2018 11:39 AM PDT So functionally, it's fine. But the body is fairly dented, to where an ethernet cable can't go in. Is it worth paying to get a new body for it? [link] [comments]

Complete Format and clean OS install of 2016 MacBook help Posted: 11 May 2018 05:10 PM PDT I want to do clean install of MacOS on my 2016 non-Touch MacBook Pro. I can download MacOS from App Store, but what about GarageBand. The MBP came with GarageBand and other Apps already installed. How can I reinstall them without buying them on the App Store?[link] [comments]
Your opinion on this refurbished 2015 MBP? Posted: 11 May 2018 10:00 AM PDT Hi gang, I'm looking at a refurb 2015 MBP 15" with the specs below for ~$2300 CAD (all in). Would you be able to let me know what the performance I'd be looking at?
My main uses are editing (potentially 4k) videos and multi-track recordings in Garageband (eventually logic and final cut), some medium gaming (say, Fortnight or casual apps) and day to day stuff like word processing, web surfing, streaming and photo editing. I've contemplated about the new MBP's but the lack of ports and questionable keyboards scared me off. I'll either hop on this deal or perhaps wait for WWDC. Penny for your thoughts? Thanks! edit: forgot processor speed [link] [comments]
Which of these, simply put, is better? Posted: 11 May 2018 02:42 AM PDT 1) Macbook Air 2.2GHz dual-core Intel Core i7 processor, Turbo Boost up to 3.2GHz
£1100 2) Macbook Pro
£1304 (These prices are with student discount). I'm looking for better in terms of performance. [link] [comments]
Anyone use the 5k LG external monitor? If not; what do you use? Posted: 11 May 2018 12:03 AM PDT Currently using my RG348Q gaming ultra wide, but quite frankly it's such a hassle switching between my MacBook Pro and gaming PC because of it's single DP port. I'm transitioning into law school, and certainly won't be gaming much at all anymore and I thought that getting a monitor that's mostly productive would be best. I also thought about buying the cheapest 5k iMac and just using that when home, but eh. If anyone could recommend a monitor that would make this machine shine (preferably not a matte screen I feel they are washed out) that would be amazing. [link] [comments] |
