Anyone else having issues with WiFi dropping when USB Hub connected? (Macbook Pro Retina 2017 13") Posted: 08 Mar 2018 12:23 AM PST WiFi drops whenever a third party USB Hub is connected, read this was down to bad shielding on the WiFi anttena, and can be solved on the 15 inch model by connecting the hub on the right side; away from the antenna. I've created some sort of solution by shielding the hub using aluminium foil to block interference, seems to working now. Anyone else had a similar issue? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 07 Mar 2018 06:25 AM PST Since 2013, my MacBook pro has been sitting on a shelf broken because the motherboard has become so bad that I can do the oven method on it and have it die 15 minutes later. I want to use my MacBook again, however the new motherboards are $130+. I have a budget of about $100. Where can I get it fixed? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 07 Mar 2018 04:56 AM PST hey friends I've got a 2010 13inch MacBook pro from a relative recently, but the battery was swollen and after few days of use the charger was broken down.so i have bought a new magsafe charger and a compatible battery but was from a reputed manufacturer called SMP. the battery was a bit smaller in it's capacity, ie 5200mAh rather than 5600mAh. and main issue is battery life is terrible only 2-3hrs on light web surfing.what should i do to get the best battery life out of it? or is it normal that that old laptop sucks more battery as it ages?
