- Iphone 5 stopped charging
- iTunes movie rentals
- On Windows 7, and this didn't used to happen, but now when I import photos, it gets stuck at the screen that says "Found X # of photos" and it just sits there for like 2 full minutes, then the import itself takes like 5x longer than it used to. Do you think this is an iPhone issue or computer issue?

Posted: 04 Feb 2018 08:44 PM PST Today my iphone 5 refuses to charge when plugged into my laptop and through a wall charger. I have an apple certified usb cable and I cleaned out any lint from the charging outlet of the iphone. When I plug it in to my laptop, I get a message saying "The last usb device you connected to this compute malfunctioned and Windows does not recognize it." Is there a way to fix this or is my iphone 5 fried and I should buy a new one? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 04 Feb 2018 03:12 PM PST I'm having troubles renting movies on iTunes. I rent the movie in iTunes Store. But when I go to play it, I can't find it in the TV app. The TV app shows my TV show purchases, but it doesn't show any movie rentals. This happened a few weeks ago too. We used my wife's phone instead so we could watch the movie. Later, when I checked my phone, it was there in the TV app. But this time, it's not showing up. It's as if the TV app is not registering movies. I have iOS 11.2.2 Any ideas ? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 04 Feb 2018 01:19 PM PST https://i.imgur.com/Z9tzLRz.png That's where it gets stuck, and it just shows the number of new photos, and then the bar goes across for like 2 minutes. Any idea what might cause this? [link] [comments] |
Iphone 6 "Ghost touch". Need help fixing! Posted: 04 Feb 2018 10:12 AM PST My Iphone 6 began to press apps and type on its own. This does not occur all the time but when it starts it does not stop for like the whole day. My suspicion is that I need to change the screen but I don't want to spend money and it still happens. How to make a hidden live photo background in lock screen? Posted: 04 Feb 2018 09:06 AM PST So a while back, I was messing with my lock screen wallpaper, and I ended up somehow making it a photo but when you pressed in with 3D Touch, a different live photo would appear and play. The background was able to handle multiple updates and a phone switch. Unfortunately, my background was changed, and now I'm trying to figure out if I can get t back. There's a decent chance that it was a glitch, but if not, I'd love to know the method. [link] [comments] |
iPhone stuck in “connect to iTunes” screen Posted: 04 Feb 2018 09:04 AM PST Hello everyone I have a friend that has an iPhone 6s that recently gave him the "connect to iTunes" screen after updating to the latest iOS 11 update. Unfortunately they did not backup the phone to a computer or iCloud, and they have over 5k photos that are potentially lost if they can access or somehow bypass the screen to back up. We've tried to re update the iPhone through iTunes, but it won't apply the update. Any ideas on how to backup the data or the very least access the photos? Any help is greatly appreciate. iPhone 6S stuck on iOS 11 Update Posted: 04 Feb 2018 06:25 AM PST I need to preface this with the fact that I hate Apple and their products, but I spent 9 hours yesterday trying to get a 6S to update to the current iOS version from 10.x.x Hooked up the phone, back ups initially failed, removed corrupted backups in iTunes, and restarted the backup. It completes, extracts update, begins the process to install... It hangs up around 70 percent. We force restart after 20 or so minutes. It makes more progress, but hangs up at about 95 percent. We restart, it gets to about 99 percent, you have to squint to see the sliver of progress not yet complete. It gets hung up on this. We let it do its thing over night. It restarts about 4 times on its own, still at the 1% remaining mark like 10 hours later. We have forced another restart this morning. At the 1%.... We have the backup that it made, but I can't even get it to restore mode with it stuck on the update screen. Please, please help with this hot garbage hardware. Pleaseeee! [link] [comments] |
Help with missing imessage attachments Posted: 04 Feb 2018 03:46 AM PST I have an iPhone 6S and I haven't updated to iOS 11 yet as I've been dealing with a lot of backup issues for the past year. Last year, I couldn't backup my iPhone so I repaired the backup with Decipher Backup Repair but I lost my iMessage/SMS attachments (photos/videos) in the process. I was able to recover them and have them in a folder on my computer. Does anyone know how I can resync them back into my message threads before I update to iOS 11? I'm also willing to do a clean install and deal with the messages later. Thanks for your help in advance! [link] [comments] |
Posted: 04 Feb 2018 03:14 AM PST So i got my iphone rekt real bad the night before. White bg + Apple logo screen keeps flickering on and off every 5seconds. Basically now I wna backup my phone before getting a new one. However, iTunes isn't detecting my phone via the USB Cable. AND, iCloud has 2FA which I can't access because my phone can't even be on. Any advice guys? Thanks [link] [comments] |
