Posted: 04 Nov 2019 11:23 PM PST I have an iPhone 6s on iOS 13.2, ever since iOS 13 has been installed it keeps 'half shutting down' like, as in the weird loading logo for shutting down shows up but then goes after a second whilst my screen and shows my passcode screen and resumes as normal, like it doesn't shut down but it acts like it does if that makes sense but not fully because it resumes on the app I was on, Is anyone else like experiencing the same thing?? I tried to google it but nothing was showing up so I presume I'm on my own, yikes :( [link] [comments] |

Saving photos on an external drive: HEIC vs JPEG? Posted: 04 Nov 2019 10:45 PM PST Mostly converted to an Apple user (but I still use Windows when necessary), and I have an external drive where I save all my iPhone photos. I recently discovered using Image Capture on my Mac which can export the photos in HEIC or JPEG file formats. Any recommendations on which file type to use? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 04 Nov 2019 02:54 PM PST This thing pops up every once in awhile and interrupts my typing, anyone know what this setting is? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 04 Nov 2019 04:25 PM PST My iPhone 6s has been flat for about a year, I put it on charge today and it's been 3 hours and not a sign of it starting up, It says it's charging (The little charge symbol disappears when plugged in) but I'm starting to get worried. How long should I expect to wait? My Samsung phone just died after a very long time of making it last, I need this phone working before morning or I'm toast! [link] [comments] |
Posted: 04 Nov 2019 10:40 AM PST I like this model because it's so small and I choose not to upgrade. The "battery health" indicator says it's at 94% but it won't charge. Do I need to replace battery or is there some other issue? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 04 Nov 2019 12:19 PM PST I currently own an iPhone 7 that is incapable of charging. The problem doesn't seem to stem from the battery because I have recently replaced it and it still doesn't seem to want to turn on. The only way I can turn on the phone is by overheating the back of the phone with a hairdryer while charging it. I've been told this problem is caused by the iPhone already thinking it's fully charged. I would appreciate any feedback or solutions. [link] [comments] |
iPhone 7 Charging Issues since iOS 13 Update Posted: 04 Nov 2019 11:33 AM PST I updated to iOS 13 on my iPhone 7 about 2 weeks ago and things seemed fine. I had some issues getting a full charge and found the new Optimized Battery setting and turned it off. Two days ago, I plugged my phone in at bedtime and woke up with it only at 2%. I thought it might be the charging cord so changed it, plugged it in over night again last night, and woke up to it only at 20%. Its strange because if I keep it plugged in during the day it gets over 80%, but why is it not charging overnight? I'd hate to buy the 11 but waking up for a days use with 2-20% battery isn't going to work. Any idea if this is a software issue and not a hardware issue since it was fine before the update? Posted: 04 Nov 2019 11:27 AM PST So I just recently bought a new phone and I am signing in to apple ID but I think I, very very stupidly, made my trusted number my own number and my old phone is destroyed. I kinda have some important information on my ID that I really would prefer to not lose. Is there ANY possible solution that someone can help me find so that I can log back into my account? Email issue on iPhone 11 Pro Max? Posted: 04 Nov 2019 03:40 AM PST Running on iOS 13.1.3... but I've honestly had this issue since I got the phone. Every time I go to emails, it always redirects me to the last email I was reading, which means I'm also sometimes redirected to a different inbox completely than when I closed the app. There's no rhyme nor reason to it. There's two scenarios:
I'm getting frustrated with this problem and none of the software updates since the phone was released has fixed it (almost only made it worse). Is there a known fix? Is it a known issue? I'm hesitant to update right now due to the other reported email issue where it deletes emails... Edit: Both scenarios seem to happen after I click on links in emails. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 04 Nov 2019 03:11 AM PST Hi, and thanks for any help in advance. My iPhone 6s+ has developed an annoying problem in which the lighter gray bar which has the two arrows in left corner and the done in right corner and is usually sat above the keyboard is now floating half way up the screen? Sorry if this post doesn't make sense as when I'm trying to type it covers up the text so I'm kinda doing it blind. [link] [comments] |
