    Fun Fact: If you tap on an iPhone X with multiple fingertips the screen will not turn on. It only works when using a single finger (given the option is enabled)

    I used to have the 7 plus and I loved that thing. The camera, the size mainly. I went to my local Verizon to see about how much it would it cost to get the X assuming they wouldn't have any as it was relatively close to launch date. They actually had some in stock and I figured if people who pre ordered them were still waiting for them and they had some available, it was a sign. So I upgraded and after a few months now I regret it. I miss the size of the 7 plus (I have very large hands) and this X is so tiny. My girlfriend still has her 7 plus and while the screen on the X is technically bigger it's not as wide and the form factor is obviously smaller. So I guess what I'm getting at is, does anyone else not enjoy the iPhone X as much as they thought, or hoped, they would? I don't even like the facial recognition. I severely miss the home button and Touch ID. Any thoughts?

    My data reset on the 20th, does anyone know why it's using so much on time and location? Last month it used almost a whole GB. Looking to curb it, as it's a huge data sink.

    How could this have happened so it won't again?

    He has Face ID and pin as a means to unlock his phone. He said he just took it out of his pocket and it said he was locked out for an hour.

    I never had this problem when I owned an iPhone so I don't know what to tell him in order to prevent this from happening again.

    If that ever happened to me in the past, a sibling messed with my phone or I legitimately messed up entering my password too many times.

    Why do MB batteries degrade much slower than iPhones?

    With the Apple battery debacle I've lately become more in tune with batteries than I ever imagined.

    This morning I tried out the excellent Mac app Coconut Battery, and it showed me some surprising results for my wife's 6.5 year old MacBook Pro.

    After 1170 charge cycles this thing is still sitting at 89% max battery capacity! Meanwhile, we all know that the iPhone batteries start degrading to annoyingly low levels within 12-18 months, and even unusable levels beyond that (<80%?). I believe the iPhone battery is rated for 500 charge cycles to maintain sufficient levels.

    So what gives? My first thought was that it involved the size of the battery required between the 2 platforms. Perhaps a larger, more robust battery in the MBP doesn't degrade as fast? But the difference is still striking, and there must be something in the underlying technology that affects the life.

    The only reason I keep using Gboard is for the excellent swipe gestures to type one handed. Does anyone else wish that Apple adds swipe to its keyboard on a future iOS release?
