| Posted: 23 Jan 2018 10:46 PM PST I've been having this problem for about a month or two months now. It's irritating me so much. When I write a text, it often takes 4 or 5 seconds for the letters I type to register, and when I hit send, it takes about the same amount of time for it to pop out of the box that I typed it in, and go into the conversation. Also, when I click the emoji icon, it takes about 4 or 5 seconds to pull up the emojis. It's honestly irritating having to wait for my message to send, or for my emojis to pull up. | iPhone X - Can’t send gifs via Facebook messenger using Reddit app Posted: 23 Jan 2018 07:21 PM PST Up to about a few weeks ago - I was able to forward gifs I found on reddit to friends via Facebook messenger - this recently started to where the gif won't show up in the preview - if I choose a friend it says "Check your connection" and then won't send, but reddit will give a "Success" banner for sending the gif. It doesn't even have a "No" option, so I keep putting it in sleep mode to close the window. I looked through settings but couldn't find a way to turn off update notifications. Posted: 23 Jan 2018 01:26 PM PST In Settings, General, Accessibility, VoiceOver, Audio there's a switch labeled Auto-select Speaker in Call with the description "automatically switch to speaker when not holding your iPhone to your ear". I really want this feature and have it enabled but it looks like it doesn't take effect unless VoiceOver is enabled too. Is there a way to have speakerphone enable when the phone isn't against my ear without having to use VoiceOver? [link] [comments]  |

As mentioned in the title, but this only happens when my headphones are in. I looked up this issue on Apple Support and it says to not use Pandora, but I do not have Pandora. Furthermore, this problem is heightened by Siri randomly activating (only when my headphones are in) despite me having Siri disabled. When using YouTube, the problem with Siri keeps happening and it pauses my video. Any advice here? [link] [comments]  |

| Unwanted fisheye camera effect on 6S Posted: 23 Jan 2018 06:59 AM PST About 2 months ago my friend gave me her broken iPhone 6S. The screen was cracked all over and the display didn't work so I took it into a repair store and they replaced the screen. Since then, there have been a couple minor issues with the screen (when I click one spot, a different part of the screen activates - usually higher up). That's annoying but I can deal with it. The problem that is really bothering me is the camera. It sometimes works normally, but most of the time it's unable to focus and has a sort of fisheye effect around the edges. I took this picture a few minutes ago, and this is a screenshot of my camera app just after taking the picture. There was no case on the phone when I took the picture/screenshot and I cleaned the lens beforehand. The phone is running the latest version of iOS (11.2.2). I plan on bringing it back to the repair store, but it's a few hours away. Much appreciated if someone can help me in the meantime! [link] [comments]  |
| Can’t click on blue underlined / ambiguous text in notes app. Posted: 23 Jan 2018 09:13 AM PST But I can in the iMessage app or other apps. When I use dictation and the word isn't correct, iOS is pretty good about giving me the blue underline then I can tap the word and select an alternative. In the notes app I get these same blue underlines but for whatever reason I cannot tap on them and do the same thing. [link] [comments]  |
