Civilization VI discount, FOMO Posted: 01 Jan 2018 09:43 AM PST I've ordered a second-hand 10.5" Pro, in large part to play Civ VI, but it's starting to look like it won't be here by 4th January when the 50% discount on Civ expires. I've tried to buy it ahead of time in iTunes, but since Aspyr have made the full version an in-app purchase, I can't buy it (or gift it to myself) without installing the trial version first. Only issue is I have no other iOS devices I can install it on. Am I doomed to miss the offer and pay fill price? I visited the Apple store to try and buy it on an iPad there, but they seem configured to disallow setting up a non-store iCloud account. [link] [comments]
Posted: 01 Jan 2018 09:09 AM PST My trusty 2013 Nexus 7 seems to be having weird touch screen issues lately. Due to lack of comparable Android tablets to the Nexus 7, I'm looking to possibly replace it entirely with an iPad. I've used it exclusively for Redditing around and watching YouTube videos. My only concern is whether or not the newer iPads will restart apps if they've been placed in the background for a period of time. I like to keep reddit posts open when I haven't had a chance to come through all the comments and would hate for my reddit app to restart and go back to the front page because I watched YouTube videos for a couple minutes. I've noticed that it's likely for my old LG G4 would "close" my reddit app in the background and start from a newly refresher homepage after spending 20 min on YouTube, whereas my Nexus 7 would show whatever I was previously reading. I suppose this might also be related to how much RAM the device has. Can anyone with a 2017 iPad confirm how well it keeps running apps in the background without it closing out and losing your place in the app? [link] [comments]
Best Cellular Plan for iPad Mini? Posted: 01 Jan 2018 09:46 AM PST Hey guys! I just bought a iPad mini 2 (AT&T model) for my younger brother and was wondering the best cheap plan for Data. Please let me know! I heard tmobile gave away 200Mb for free every month is that still available? [link] [comments]
iPhone as a remote for media and video playback on iPad? Posted: 01 Jan 2018 05:50 AM PST Is there an app to control videos or maybe songs from iphone? We can control iPad Keynote on iPhone with bluetooth or wifi, is there an app with similar features? [link] [comments]
The size at which 16:9 movies are displayed on iPad pro Posted: 01 Jan 2018 10:31 AM PST Hey, I was browsing for this info and couldn't find it, nor have I heard it mentioned in the videos about iPads that I've watched on Youtube. 10.5 iPad pro: the diagonal size of the screen for widescreen 16:9 movies is 9.63 inches. 12.9 iPad pro: the diagonal size of the screen for widescreen 16:9 movies is 11.82 inches. Business owners - what apps do you use? Posted: 01 Jan 2018 01:39 PM PST Hey, /r/iPad - I'm curious what iPad apps you use to manage your business? I've tinkered with a few dozen project management/task management apps but I've never found any that didn't feel clunky. If anyone has any suggestions I'd be super grateful! [link] [comments]
College - Best PDF/eTextbook & Powerpoint Viewer for Note Taking Posted: 31 Dec 2017 06:51 PM PST Hello! What is the best app to use for PDF reading and annotating (for PDF/eTextbook/eBook files)? I've heard GoodNotes4 is good, as well as PDF EXPERT but unsure. Also, what is the best method to tackle taking notes with PowerPoints posted by the professor beforehand? Should I import them into GoodNotes4? Or Notes? I'm not sure what is the best system. I read suggestion of 'Notes' program but it seems you can't export it back out after you annotate on the sides (the margins are a bit strange and seem to extend forever). Please let me know what you are using, what apps to avoid, and which are the best tools for students. Thank you very much! [link] [comments]
Is there any way to read comic (not manga) free like MangaRock ? Posted: 31 Dec 2017 11:13 PM PST Hi, I'm new to iOS and I wonder how can I read free comic. [link] [comments]
Curved iPad 10.5 - Should I Return It? Posted: 31 Dec 2017 05:30 PM PST Brand new Space Gray iPP 10.5 and I LOVE IT. But I noticed that right out of the box it's slightly curved. It's really only noticeable when I lay it flat on a table/surface. It's concave by about 1mm. I know it's not that big of an issue but should I exchange it for another anyway? It kinda bothers me because of how expensive it is. Does anyone else have this issue? Does anyone know if this is by design? It doesn't wobble at all from the camera bump, so I'm wondering if it's intentional. [link] [comments]

Anyone not use back cover with smart keyboard? Posted: 31 Dec 2017 05:25 PM PST Prior to purchasing my smart keyboard, I used a standard cover that covers the back of the iPad. Now that I am using the iPad naked with the keyboard, I love the beauty of the iPad. Anyone use it without a back cover? And how is it holding up? [link] [comments]
Searching for App - Remote from Desktop to Ipad Posted: 31 Dec 2017 07:51 PM PST I know there are plenty of apps to remote into desktop from Ios. Does an app like Screens or Teamviewer allow me to access my Ipad from my desktop? [link] [comments]
Looking for a use iPad or iPad mini Posted: 31 Dec 2017 08:00 PM PST I was offered an iPad mini first generation (16 gb) in good condition for $80. Is that an okay deal? I'm just looking to use it for basic purposes. [link] [comments] |
