    I've been on iOS 11 since dev beta 1 and this is by far the best update. Here's why:-

    Device:- iPhone 7+ (128GB) (Bought October '16)

    1. RAM management:

    Previously going back 5 apps and the app will have to restart. Now even 10-15 apps back and the app is still loaded.

    1. Performance:

    The phone is now blazing. Virtually no lag anywhere. It feels like it just came out of the box.

    1. Throttling:

    Throttling is now stopped. Again helps point 2.

    1. Battery life:

    After using it for a whole day I can say that battery life is better though it may be too soon to judge that. Previously I used to get ~5 hours of on screen time. Now it went up to ~6 hours.

    So today I experienced a shutdown while I was outside. I was listening to music, took the phone out of my pocket, unlocked it, opened the music app and it shutdown. Battery was between 35-40% and the temperature outside was 3 degrees Celsius.

    This is not meant to scare those of you that haven't yet installed the beta but are planning to, nor does it mean that it will happen to everyone. It's simply my experience with this beta so far.

    I just uploaded my 6s and having the 16gb version I checked my available storage before. I had more than 3gb available. After the upload just for curiosity I went back to check it again to see maybe some improvement and it was less than 1gb. Now, I have the 16 gb that it's already difficult to manage with the memory and 8gb of system and with this upload even other 2gb less.

    Anyone else noticed this?

    [Question] Does beta 1 break car music control?

    Every beta I can remember has broken control of music in my Acura 2012 TL. Has anyone tried? I'm not using bluetooth. I'm plugged in to the usb port. I'm sure it happens in more than just the Acura.

    [Question] Apple TV remote app

    iPhone X running 11.3. Anybody experiencing Apple TV remote app crashing? I open the app, it asks to connect to Apple TV but once it's getting ready to connect the app crashes, and continues to crash if opened again.

    I've tried deleting app doesn't work, soft reset and hard reset didn't work either. Only fix I've found is to restart Apple TV, then the app works until the Apple TV goes into standby.

    [Discussion] Question for a person with hear loss. Does Airplay 2 support 2 AirPods?

    I'm asking this for a friend of me who has hearing loss. He wants to watch the TV with loud volume, without disturbing other family members.

    So can 2 people watch the Apple TV with 2 AirPods? Or one of them with AirPod, the other one with regular speakers?

    Is *anyone* seeing iCloud storage being used by Messages yet? [Discussion]

    With the addition of Messages in iCloud, I was expecting some amount of increase in my iCloud storage usage. But as of about 24 hours since the release, my iCloud storage is not reporting that Messages is using any of the space available in iCloud.

    Edit: after a few more hours of waiting, it seems to be working! Old messages from my phone are now showing up on my new iPad.

    11.3 beta, iPhone 7.

    My phone is respringing quite frequently today. It seems like a combination of Apple Music and Apollo for Reddit is enough to cause a respring.

    What is weird is they are the quickest resprings I've ever had where it only takes about 1-2 seconds before asking for my passcode to get back to the lock screen.

    Anyone else having these minor resprings?

    [BUG] Assistive touch when reduced to only one button (home), doesn’t take you to home anymore. It opens up assistive menu, then you need to click once more to go to home.

    Same as title. I use assistive touch by configuring it to only have one button which takes me to home. But with new beta 11.3, I cant do that anymore. It opens the menu first, and then I have to click it again to go home.
