Taking the stairs every opportunity at work is my new self-imposed rule. Four flights up and down, several times today. Challenge accepted!

Possible to have complication badge but no notification?

    Posted: 25 Jan 2018 07:44 AM PST

I want to set up a Watch face for use at work that has the Mail complication showing an unread email badge, however I do not want to receive notification pop ups for new email, nor do I want the unread email badge to show on the Mail app on my phone.

Is this possible? I am open to using a different email app that has a complication to achieve this.

Anyone go from Series 1 to Series 3?

    Posted: 24 Jan 2018 07:40 PM PST

Hiya gang--I'm a longtime Series 0 owner (ordered it at midnight, the moment it was made available way back on April 24, 2015 or so). I'm wondering if anyone out there has gone from Series 0 or 1 to Series 3, and whether or not they think it is worth the upgrade. If I go 3, I'll probably get the cellular model, because I'm a super-dork.

series 0, cant make heart charts in workouts

    Posted: 25 Jan 2018 07:18 AM PST

my watch hasn't been able to get an accurate heart rate in ages, whenever i workout it is constantly looking for a heart rate and when i finish even an hour long spin it cant make a chart because it couldn't get enough measurements. i wanted to know if my watch is just acting up or if anyone else is experiencing this

    It's a Stainless Steel Series 0

small edit: no amount of band tightness or cleaning does anything

    3rd Party Fitness Achievement Apps?

    Posted: 25 Jan 2018 06:25 AM PST

I've gone up and down in weight a few times in my life. Right now is one of the "up" times. The gamification of fitness that the AW and achievements provides is a huge motivator for me.

Are they any other apps that use the Health/Movement/AW data to award different badges or achievements as part of the app, so I can continue to get that dopamine kick I crave?

Anyone ever came across neat mock-ups of watch faces Apple doesn't offer?

    Posted: 25 Jan 2018 06:25 AM PST

I'd love to see what people have designed & thought of when it comes to customization/3rd party watch faces.

    Question about Move calories achievement

    Posted: 25 Jan 2018 05:50 AM PST

What is a good amount of move calories to achieve per day?

I have a default of 1150 which is very difficult to reach even though I exercise an hour a day?

Unfortunately most of the day is spent sitting at an office job though.

    Average calorie

    Posted: 25 Jan 2018 05:34 AM PST

Hello. I recently got an Apple Watch and my friend and I are in a competition on who can get the most percent everyday. We both set our move goal to 550. The thing is, I work out everyday and he doesn't but he still almost beats me everyday. We decided that we should make the calories different, but the same level of difficulty for each person.

I am an 18 year old female who weighs 128 lbs He is a 17 year old male who weighs 225 lbs

Do you have any suggestions on what we should both set our calories to????

    Smart Gym app worth it?

    Posted: 25 Jan 2018 01:28 AM PST

Hello. I just got a gym membership about 2 months ago and do weight machines a lot. A problem I encountered as keeping track of reps, amount of weight, etc. and I don't want to use Notes app. I stumbled upon SmartGym that costs $3.

Anyone who does weights & has Apple Watch recommend it? Thanks!

PSA: Apple replacing Series 0 Watches with Series 1

    Posted: 24 Jan 2018 01:04 PM PST

Like the tittle says, I sent my apple watch because my workout app was super laggy. I noticed the replacement watch was bumped up to Series 1. (I did not have apple care on my series 0)

    Siri no longer voice activated

    Posted: 25 Jan 2018 04:58 AM PST

I have an original generation watch. Since updating to 4.2.2 Siri no longer responds to "Hi Siri" although she still responds if I press the crown. The microphone is working as I can make recordings using Just Press Record and once I've pressed the crown the watch registers my question and displays Siri's response. Are any other OG owners having this problem?

I've downloaded the update twice now and everytime it keeps stating that I'm not connected to the internet so it couldn't be verified.
