| Posted: 13 Jun 2022 03:16 PM PDT Hi so I have an old iPhone 6s it was my first iPhone when I was like 10 ish so I didn't understand properly and when I got my second iPhone I didn't use the same Apple ID so all my old photos and videos are on this iPhone and I wanted to see if I could try get it back on. I got the xr in Christmas 2018 so as soon as I got that I left the iPhone 6s just go dead and has basically been dead since Christmas 2018. Around covid lockdown in 2020 I found the old phone and tried to plug it in to see all my old photos but when I plugged it in basically the screen is black and even if you press the on button or have it plugged in for a few hours the screen where it says your iPhone is dead with like the red battery that doesn't even come up. It said online to leave it for maybe a day but I haven't had another plug until now so I'm going to leave it overnight to charge but I was wondering is there anything I can do to get it on like is it a battery problem or can I take it somewhere to get fixed? | Posted: 13 Jun 2022 02:49 PM PDT I currently have the iPhone 13 pro max, running iOS 15.5, and I got it only a few months ago. Recently I've started having problems with it however. For example, just a couple minutes ago my phone was at around 70% or so, then it suddenly restarted. When I turned it back on it was at 10%. Once I turned it back on it continued restarting (only seconds after being turned back on), and this went on until I plugged it in. I have also noticed that the right side of my screen is popping up sorta. My setting also show that the battery health is at 100% if that matters. I've always done phone backups on my older desktop using iTunes. I just ordered a new 13" M1 MacBook pro to replace my old computer and I'd like to use it the same way. However, I understand there is no iTunes on the new macs and you're supposed to do backups with Finder. I've called Apple a few times and have received different answers about whether or not my new computer will be able to backup or even detect my iPhone running an iOS 13 system when i plug it in. I'd like to avoid updating to a later iOS, because my phone runs great now and I've been burned before trying to update an older phone (along with reading some horror stories about updating an iPhone8 past 13). Turns out the Iphone XR is also grainy, on 1080p60fps settings with professional lights. I'm not familiar with Apple products but one of my friend films with the same Iphone as I do and she never had grainy problems and her video looks very good. I'd like to know what causes the bad quality? Should I return the phone for a faulty camera or is it just that I can't set it up correctly? When the external battery is connected into the phone it starts to charge for only a moment and stops. I had the same problem with my old 7. (I've recently upgraded to a 12.) They as well can't hear me. However my microphone does work just fine when I talk over FaceTime. Receiver doesn't have any dust. Not on do not disturb and my ringer is on. | Reduced bass on earphones with lightning to 3.5mm dongle Posted: 13 Jun 2022 12:25 AM PDT Last time i used this dongle i was on ios 15.3 and same earphones but a different dongle (still the original apple's) which got broken so now I bought a new one from the same shop(original apple's) now I'm on 15.5 and the bass was so low so i got the dongle replaced but it didn't changed anything so i tried a different earphones and still got reduced bass. I tired changing the eq but didn't help, I tried resetting iphone but it didn't help either... [link] [comments] | ||

I recorded a song from a concert the other day and I wasn't aware the camera seemingly changes whatever microphone is used based on the lens(?) I started recording using the 0.5x lens which had a full sound but when I switched to the 3x lens the sound noticeably became less dynamic (muffling out instruments outside of the frame) and focused more on the audio of the frame subject. Is there anyway to prevent this by setting the camera app to only ever use one microphone to record audio? I don't really know how the lenses and microphones interface with each other. Honestly, I have really no idea how the iPhone cameras or microphones work so not really even sure if I am hypothesizing a question that makes any sense based off the hardware. [link] [comments] | ||
