| Posted: 14 Jun 2022 08:12 PM PDT Basically something like that, but the wall outlet takes usb-c and not usb-a. I believe it's 15W vs 20W for Fast charging usb-c. I could be wrong though. I'm just confused because all the listings on amazon say fast charging "2022 updated", yet the outlet takes a usb-a. Can someone clear this up for me? | Apple Watch Series 3 will not connect to iPhone 11 iOS 15; any ideas? Posted: 14 Jun 2022 07:36 PM PDT I recently upgraded my phone to iPhone 11 and updated it to iOS 15. I tried to pair my Series 3 watch to my phone multiple times over a series of days, using both manual and automatic pairing to no avail. I get to the watch updates screen and my phone says it cannot complete an update check within the Watch app. It also says I'm not connected to the internet when in fact I've been on WiFi/ LTE and double checked that Bluetooth was enabled. I finally gave up and decided that the Watch is simply not compatible even though the Apple website says they are. I googled this around and from what I can gather, there's something about an iPhone 11 running iOS 15 that will not allow a Series 3 Apple Watch to pair to it. Does anyone know what the issue might be and if there's any workaround or am I better off getting rid of the Watch? Thank you. [link] [comments] | ||
| Posted: 14 Jun 2022 05:27 PM PDT Hi there, I bought an Apple Watch Series 3 a month ago for my birthday directly from apple. I got it instead of a SE because I very much like the square design. I like the watch however there is one problem with it its brand new and wont get any freaking updates. I specifically asked the staff members of the store from genius bar down to the casual workers about the life span and updates the watch will get they all told me it would be supported for years to come even if its a little slower than other watches. They also told me since apple is selling it it will get watch os 9 and above as well as "they tend to support products for some time even after they stop selling it". Skip time to later they WWDC launches and boom no support for the series 3 even though they still sell it. Went back into the store and asked what happens now? The same guy that said it would be supported for years told me its time to upgrade and about time they discontinued it WHAT THE FUCK??! What should I do now? [link] [comments] |
