macOS Mac to Roku airplay not working |
| Mac to Roku airplay not working Posted: 10 Mar 2022 04:28 AM PST Hi there. I have an MacBook Pro from 2017 I am trying to use Airplay on my Roku. What happens is when I select a video on my MacBook open it with QuickTime and choose airplay and my Roku 4k stick it will automatically come up with Airplay on my tv but the video will never play. It works fine using screen mirror. It works fine using airplay for YouTube or anything like that. Works fine using Airplay using videos on my iPhone. I have looked and unless I am misunderstanding they are all compatible. What can anyone suggest? Apple support couldn't help. Here are my system models below.
