Anyone else's battery life taken a dive after the recent update? Posted: 08 Jun 2018 08:40 AM PDT I just updated the other night and since then my watch has died before the day is even done. My watch used to go 2 days with room to spare. Anyone else experiencing this? Ideas? Could it be something to do with the "monitor when you're working out" thing? [link] [comments]

Siri randomly and continuously goes off on my S2. Any help or fixes? Posted: 08 Jun 2018 08:40 AM PDT I've had my S2 for about a year now and recently Siri will go off randomly and pretty regularly as if I'm holding down on the crown when I'm not even touching it. It's pretty annoying because it will go off like 10 times in 2 minutes if not more. Anyone had similar problems and/or advice? Thanks! [link] [comments]
Is the ability to change ringtones and alert sounds in watchOS 5? Posted: 08 Jun 2018 08:40 AM PDT If not this is one feature I think they should implement. [link] [comments]
Questions about Apple Watch and Disability Posted: 08 Jun 2018 04:37 AM PDT As background for my questions I have TBI and a degenerative nerve condition similar to MS. This leads me to a couple of questions about the the Watch Series 3 I just ordered:
Thanks in advance. BTW, I ordered a space gray 38mm with the space gray sport band. I'll use it with an iPhone 7+. [link] [comments]
Posted: 08 Jun 2018 07:59 AM PDT My original Apple Watch fell off my wrist onto my tile floor when I was putting it on and it smashed. It smashed so bad that all the side pieces of glass fell off and the screen is literally just held on by the flex cables. The force touch doesn't work but everything else including the screen (the normal touch and it still turns on no problem) works. It's so annoying cause it has fallen a few times before onto the same floor and a wooden floor. It has been hit off countless counter edges when reaching down to get something , it has hit off the corner of our island in the kitchen a few times when walking past it and the corners of the house inside and outside. Then this small drop destroys it in one go like wtf. It costs €250 to fix it with Apple so I'm on the fence about getting a brand new series 1 Apple Watch for €309 or getting a second hand series 2 watch for €275 - €280 or waiting for the 4th gen watch so I can get the cellular version. Posted: 08 Jun 2018 07:51 AM PDT Would i need to download an app to listen to BBC radio on the Apple watch or can you do it on the built-in app? If you can, how do you get it? [link] [comments]
3rd party apps all crash please help!!! Posted: 08 Jun 2018 07:46 AM PDT brand new watch out of the box, iphone 7 11.3.1, apple watch 3 4.3.1 all 3rd party apps crash but native apps function properly. i thought maybe ad blocking vpn on phone would be cause of problem but no luck. i have restored the watch, no luck. went to the apple store they could not figure it out, i sent the watch to them but they said they could not replicate the problem. i paired it with an iphone 5s running 11.3.1 and it worked fine, so i am assuming the problem is from my phone but can't figure out. i know what of you folks can figure it out. PLEASE PLEASE HELP [link] [comments]
Apple faced a class-action lawsuit, which alleges all the Apple Watch units are defective Posted: 08 Jun 2018 07:42 AM PDT Recently, a consumer, from Colorado, US, called Kenneth Sciacca filed a class-action lawsuit against Apple Company, accusing the Apple Watch of the same flaws from the first generation to three generations, reported in FuninUSA, a platform offering products reviews and global news. Sciacca said the defect was that, the screen was prone to rupture, break or detach. The users of Apple Watch will encounter the situation after a few days or weeks of use, not artificially made. Apple was aware of the problem from the start, but declined to acknowledge it, Sciacca said in the complaint. He's now seeking $5 million compensation from Apple, reported in FuninUSA. Apple was aware of the problem before the Apple Watch went on sale but did not inform consumers. In terms of apple's actions, its internal policy is to deny the existence of the problem, claiming that it was caused by consumers' "accidental damage" and refusing to provide repair or replacement services. Sciacca added. Apple has previously acknowledged the problem of the first generation of Apple Watch and extended the guarantee period to 3 years. Later, Apple extended the period again due to the swelling of second generation of the watch. In November of 2017, Apple confirmed that part of the third generation of Apple Watch's screens had stripe marks, reported in FuninUSA. So far, however, Apple has not acknowledged the Apple Watch's problems with screen separation or fragmentation, though the problem might be caused by the battery's swelling. [link] [comments]

Posted: 08 Jun 2018 07:06 AM PDT Now that Apple is no longer going to support Watch models A1553 & A1554 in watch OS 5, what are the odds that there's going to be a recycling program, like for all the other products, so that I can trade-in my A1554 for credit towards a newer model? Edit: I should really Google before posting. >.< [link] [comments]
