[15.4b1] Potential Fix for Hard Freezes Posted: 07 Feb 2022 05:04 AM PST So like a lot of people I was getting hard freezes, nonresponsive screen, would have to wait for Springboard to restart or wait a minute or two until I could restart the phone. I have an iPhone 12 Pro Max. I had a feeling it was to do with my network settings as a few other people mentioned similar. So I went to each of my home wifi networks (2.4/5ghz and boosters) and turned off Private Wi-Fi Address as well as the Limit IP Address Tracking options and my phone hasn't crashed since, it's been 24 hours. Before that my phone was crashing regularly throughout the day for the last 3 days since I installed 15.4b1, I think mainly when it was switching between networks or trying to find signal. Anyway, I'm not a developer or technician so no concrete evidence, just a potential solution to try if your phone keeps freezing on 15.4b1. submitted by /u/i_maq [link] [comments]
