The video quality is horrible and can take a lot of time until you see UHD quality. On the PS5 app it works perfectly. Did anyone encounter this issue?

Does purchasing YouTube premium block all ads on Apple TV as well as watching on pc? Thank you for any info. I think it's finally broken me lol

Weird "skipping" audio issue when coming out of standby/powering on

Sometimes when I turn on my Apple TV, the audio on whatever content I'm viewing "skips" every few seconds. It just completely mute for a second, then comes back, etc etc. This keeps happening until I manually restart the Apple TV. That will fix it. I currently have it connected to my LG OLED TV. I am also using a Yamaha soundbar through ARC. I suspect it might be a handshake issue with the soundbar or something, but I am unsure on how to fix it. Any ideas?

I love the device and it works well. Recently updated to the new remote as well but other then a few streaming apps and they epic screensavers, that's all I use it for. I actually also use it as a Homehub as well with some Siri smart functionality.

I don't really play Apple Arcade with it as I prefer to use a proper remote and AppleTV compatible games are just okay.

So I'm curious to know if anyone is doing something cool with their device!

Is there any way to redownload Minecraft?

Probably a silly question, but I just wanted to be sure.

We bought Minecraft for Apple TV when it came out and had a blast. It was our primary Minecraft player in the house. Then, as we know, Microsoft stopped development of Apple TV Minecraft.

Fast forward to today, we have a new Apple TV 4K(2) and our old Apple TV (non-4K) is in our kids room.

Is there any way to redownload the last version released? Obviously it will be way outdated, and we aren't looking to play online or anything, just something to keep the kid's brain busy on down days.

No option to turn on subtitles on updated YouTube app.

Google seems to have updated the YouTube app and I cannot find an option to turn on subtitles on any video. The usual 'cc' icon is missing from the usual location (three dot menu) and videos that have forced subtitles do not display any subtitles at all. Is anyone else experiencing this and is there any option to revert to an older version of the app? My app version is showing as 2.06.22.00/web_20220215_10_RC00 so I am assuming this was an update from Feb 15th.

Edit: deleted the app and reinstalled it - caption button is back! Will leave this here in case anyone else has the same issue.

Do you notice this issue as well?

I was using desktop streaming app. It was working fine on tvOS 14.5. Then, I updated AppleTV to latest tvOS 15.3 and I started seeing frequent glitches.

Solution to Pairing Apple TV Remote to TCL TV

Bought a TCL Google TV and use my Apple TV 4K with the new remote. Unfortunately the remote does not power off the TV (it does however work with volume control). Before I return the TV any solutions to this issue? Have tried all the troubleshooting solutions I've seen online but nothing works. Just want to be able to use the Apple TV remote for everything.

Apple TV won't connect to TV provider

Everything was fine until about a week ago. Was asked to sign into provider, and now I keep getting the "sign in error. We are experiencing technical difficulties" error. It started during the Super Bowl. Anyone seen this problem and knows a fix?
