It makes me genuinely laugh. It gives me some of the feels I get from Ted Lasso after watching it, the warm fuzzy's. If you haven't seen it I think it's worth a watch. It's so choppy to the point of being completely useless. I've restarted our phones and have even factory reset our Apple TV 4K. What gives? [link] [comments] | ||

What streaming apps are available on the new AppleTv HD? BBC iPlayer, YouTube and Prime still airplay to my 2nd gen but apps like All4, Dave and ITV don't. I don't have an Apple Music subscription because it's useless to me, and most of my Albums are CD rips or occasionally off of Bandcamp. I like files. So, while I have all my music loaded up properly in iTunes and my phone....it seems that I can't actually browse and play from my phone using AppleTV? I can stream to appleTV using the phone itself, but that defeats the point. I want to browse my library using the remote on the tv, not my phone's touchscreen. [link] [comments] | ||

I have deleted the app on the apple tv, I have deleted the data out of icloud and I have signed in all three ways. I am at a loss as to why it is happening. Posted: 02 Dec 2021 12:31 PM PST Current setup: Apple TV 4K (1st gen) -> TV Yamaha RX-V385 Receiver -> TV via eARC port Sony X900H 85 inch I used to connect my Apple TV to the back of my receiver because I read that's best to avoid any lip sync issues. However, I noticed recently that with my Apple TV connected to the receiver, I would get a very noticeable lip sync issue with only Dolby Vision content only, and I tend to watch a lot of DV content. After some research, I decide to connect my Apple TV directly to my TV's HDMI port because I read that if my TV has eARC, the best route is to connect your devices that way and just let the receiver take care of the audio. Since then, there's been no issues with Dolby Vision at all. Just curious what everyone else's setups are with receivers and if you have any issues with either setup of connecting to receiver or directly to TV [link] [comments] | ||

| Apple TV dims while watching YouTube Posted: 01 Dec 2021 09:50 PM PST I recently bought a 4K TV (an LG Class C1 series) and an Apple TV 4K to go with it. When we are watching longer videos on YouTube, after watching for a few minutes, the video dims. If we pause and resume the video, the video returns to normal brightness only to dim again a few minutes later. It doesn't seem to do this with other streaming apps though we haven't had it long enough to fully test each streaming app. Any ideas what might be going on and how to stop it? [link] [comments] | ||

It's also such a cheap sounding click. The old remote was perfect in this regard. Does the remote break in and quiet down at all over time? Fairly disappointing for a $60 remote. | Bluetooth sound chopping with 2 airpods Posted: 01 Dec 2021 06:12 PM PST When listening to Prime Video with a pair of Airpods Max and a pair of Airpods Pro, the sound is chopping/cutting every 2-3 minutes or so for a few seconds. No problem with a single pair of headphones. Latest Apple TV 4K. Anyone else has the same issue? Any idea on what could be the issue? [link] [comments] | ||

Ever since I bought an Apple TV 4K I have had periodic times where my tv will not turn on. The last time it happened when I was able to turn the TV back on I made sure to turn off the Apple TV's ability to power my tv on and off. I have an older Samsung TV which is about 12 years old or so. It has always worked fine until now. Not sure if just a coincidence or not. I've tried resetting my TV, unplugging HDMI cords etc. eventually it just turns back on with no Rhyme or Reason I'm sure this is unique to me but I wanted to post to see if this has ever happened to anyone else. | Cannot connect to Fios TV app - Please help! Posted: 01 Dec 2021 08:29 PM PST I log in with the correct login credentials but it says "No Streaming Device connection detected". After calling Verizon customer service to fix this issue, he eventually got me a free upgrade to my TV/internet since we had a super outdated plan and he said that was supposed to fix the problem, but it has not yet. I have been trying to get this fixed since I got my Apple TV yesterday, but I have found absolutely no solutions, other than to buy a CEC HDMI cable, that in which I can't even find ones that say they are CEC compatible on Amazon. Also I saw I needed to turn on CEC on my TV, but I do not think this is an option on mine. If you guys can confirm that cable would make it work I will absolutely buy one, but please let me know if there is an easier way, I would appreciate it so much. [link] [comments] |
