- I've tried to upgrade iCloud storage for one month and a half now without success. iPhone 13 - Italy. Error: it's not possible to upgrade the cloud space at the moment. Try later from settings.

| Posted: 06 Dec 2021 06:42 AM PST Hi all, downloaded a Motu 8pre audio driver for my 2011 MBP (SSD) running High Sierra, rebooted after install and now my Mac won't finish booting. I accessed the hard disk in Target Disk mode and all my files are still intact. I deleted all files associated with the drivers and reset NVRAM & PRAM, no change. Any suggestions? After it finally showed up the orange dot in the statusbar showed that my microphone was recently used by System. 15.1.1, recently updated. On that phone I have of course a lot of pictures connected to my work AppleID. In the past I've had a private iPhone as well connected to my private AppleID. On the new iPhone I will get, I will connect it to my private AppleID and use the backup from conntedted to it, so I can get the pictures from that ID. But if I also want to import my pictures from my work phone ID, how to I do it? In summary, I have 2 iPhone with differant Apple-IDs, how can I transfer pictures from 1 ID to the other with the easiest method. On the work phone I have the pictures in iCloud. But recently I've been listening to music on Amazon Music and I went to pause my music and it skipped the song when I clicked the right airpod but when I click the left it pauses as intended. I'm aware of the double click to skip feature but I have no idea how this has changed as that's what I usually did if I wanted to skip song. Any help would be appreciated! [link] [comments] |
| Any way around recovery mode for a lockout? Posted: 06 Dec 2021 07:39 AM PST I had an iPhone 5s from 2014-2018 and was always running out of storage, so I have two years worth of pictures that are not backed up on it. I recently pulled it out to finally try to upload all of the photos to my laptop, but I couldn't guess the passcode since I haven't had it out in years. Like a complete noob, I tried absolutely every variation of past passcodes and ended up getting the message saying that I was locked out and need to put my phone in recovery mode, which will delete all unsaved data. (I didn't know this was a thing, or I never would have tried a billion passcodes. I don't really "do" technology, and now it's biting me in the ass.) The photos I have on here are ones from my first home with my boyfriend, college graduation, our first vacation together, etc. and the thought of losing them huuuuuurts. Is there any way around this? I currently have a 12 pro and when I go to Settings —> Apple ID/iCloud/Media and Purchases, I am able to see the old 5s phone details (serial number, etc.) Not sure if this helps, or would be useful if I took it to Apple. Posted: 06 Dec 2021 07:36 AM PST I keep daily Time Machine backups of my laptop, but also, pretty much everything I have is in the cloud. Are use iCloud for pretty much everything iCloud does, plus dropbox for all of my business and personal files. Most of my major applications require cloud activation as well, so I don't necessarily save a lot of time transferring them by time machine versus reinstalling them. This is also a transition from Intel to M1, which could potentially add further concerns to a Time Machine transition as I may be transitioning apps that won't work. What, if anything, will I miss out on by installing my new Mac via iCloud and just signing in to all of my services versus restoring from my time machine backup or migration assistant? But now that there are different Focuses, I've been thinking that it would be great to once again have one phone to rule them all. | iPhone XR died while on charging Posted: 06 Dec 2021 07:25 AM PST Hi guys, as the title says a week ago when I kept my iPhone XR for charging two hours later it refused to turn on, it was working flawlessly till the last day, I showed it to apple care they said I had to replace my unit as the issue is hardware. This was 2 year old unit with no physical damage and slightly bad battery life. Is there any way it can still be fixed as buying new iPhone isn't making sense to me and I was hoping for this phone to last for at least another year before I make a switch. Can it be fixed by third parties? Or it there any solution available at all or I should just move on? For context apple care told me it was hardware issue (didn't confirm what it is but basically said Apple just replaces whole unit if under warranty for similar issues and it was not battery fault) Edit: I have always used Apple iPad Air (2019)10w charger for charging my iPhone and charger it came with but nothing else. I have tried changing the trusted number to other numbers as well, but it still keeps sending the code to the previous one. How do i fix this? I use the software for OBS and it works just fine, but according to articles I've read it should be a drop down option in FaceTime, but it doesn't appear as a camera device. Don't really care about which method I need to use, but is there a way to use an iPhone as a welcome for FaceTime? The most obvious solution, simply using the phone, isn't super ideal because I want to be able to use my dedicated microphone for calls. Thank guys! [link] [comments] |
| Samsung to Apple - iCloud/iTunes/Photo problems Posted: 06 Dec 2021 06:31 AM PST Hi All, tried searching but no luck finding what I need. My wife bought an iPhone after being a Samsung user for a number of years - we manually pulled all of the photos from her Samsung and stored them on my PC. When we set the iPhone up we manually added the photos in iTunes as we couldn't get the file transfer to work. She's been using the iPhone since around August taking plenty of videos and photos but now we are a bit stuck with how to back them all up safely. A few questions... Where are the August-now photos saved? If we turn on sync with iCloud it says the 30k photos/videos from the manual will be deleted, on her iCloud there are 11 random photos she took the day she got the phone (before we manually uploaded the old photos). Will this overwrite all the photos she's taken so far if we sync it? How do we get the August-now photos off her iPhone to put on the PC? I feel as though I need to get all the photos on the PC and start again with the iCloud photo sync... Any help will be massively appreciated [link] [comments] |

Now, I can only connect via Bluetooth, and I cannot even find my car when I go in Settings-General-Carplay. I tried to reset Network Settings but that didnt help. I have Iphone 13 Max (15.1.1.) | AirPods Pro left earbud double click not working Posted: 06 Dec 2021 05:40 AM PST This randomly happened like yesterday or the day before. I noticed that when I double click on my left earbud, it doesn't skip anymore and I've been forced to use my watch when I use only my left earbud. I've tried resetting it and deleting it from my Bluetooth paired list but no dice. What it does instead of skipping when I double click is pause the song. All the other features work, triple click, click, and hold, etc but just not double click. It sucks because I primarily use my left earbud while at work since my hearing isn't as good in that ear( I can hear my surroundings better). Any help or advice would be appreciated. I do have apple care on them but I'd much rather not replace them over a simple issue like this. They've performed phenomenally so far. [link] [comments] |
| Hey 13 Pro Max users, does your iPhone lag? Posted: 06 Dec 2021 01:52 AM PST I received my iPhone 13 Pro Max 128 gb ten days ago, upgrading from my first iPhone, an 8 plus from 2017. Unfortunately, while cropping tons of photos in a row (like 15 or 20 per minute), it gets very laggy right away, like on the fourth image or so. It makes it impossible to carry on and stops responding, so I have to close the photo app and restart. Basically it switches from 120fpm to 120 frames per hour, takes seconds to respond and lags lags lags, both trying to keep on editing (or simply closing the current image) and trying to scroll through the photos. I used to do that on my previous phone and it wasn't a problem at all. I've already contacted Apple, both through the chat on their website (I'm in Italy, if that makes any difference) and in person. They checked my phone multiple times and it seems fine, even though one employee straight up suggested me to return the iPhone and buy a new one. I've already reset it once, but the problem is still here. The thing is, yesterday, while walking out of the Apple store, I've tried doing the same thing on one of their phone displayed all around the store and it lagged in the same exact way as mine. I'm quite relieved to know mine isn't defective, but I'm now stuck with a freaking 1300 euros phone that does not do something very basic that I need, and I mainly upgraded to the 13 due to the camera. Do you think an update will ever fix something? I'm currently on iOS 15.1.1 Also, I've notice it doesn't always respond to the touch, especially on the top half of the screen.
