| Having problems setting up voicemail Posted: 08 Aug 2018 02:33 PM PDT I've been trying to set up a voicemail on my iphonex, which I've had for a while and never bothered to do until now. However, when I go to the voicemail screen is is just a blank screen that says "call voicemail" in the middle, with no options for setting up. I googled how to in case I was going to the wrong place and it seems there is supposed to be a setup voicemail option here. Is this a problem with my phone or something I need to fix with ATT? Posted: 07 Aug 2018 04:40 PM PDT My iPhone X has been getting pretty warm recently it seems, been lurking and saw other posts but generally people just criticizing I am actually looking to see if this is happening to anyone else or just a small minority? Can someone check the temp of their phone after 15 minutes of use and let me know, I think that would help everyone worried.... 15 minutes of use and phone can start to feel a bit warm, dont know exact temp but the room is 72 degrees and it feels like its about 86-88 and this is just scrolling through Apollo, Facebook is the same, safari is the same. | where are all these super sweet AR apps at? Posted: 07 Aug 2018 08:07 AM PDT when AR was first coming out - there were several demos of all sorts of cool proof-of-concepts but it feels like most of the available apps on the iOS app store are novelty at best (or at least the ones that show up under the AR category). that cool demo where you could watch the Apollo capsule land on the moon that looked kinda close to scale? the Space X rocket landing in your pool? the multiple doorways/portals leading to mt fuji or other cool places? does anyone have a list of stuff that's actually worth downloading? i'll be more than happy to throw money at it. i have the iPhone X and want to push it. currently have these apps that are ok:

| Posted: 07 Aug 2018 06:41 AM PDT I always said I'd never own an iPhone, but I ended up getting one finally (Facetime and photo/video iMessage were the deciding factors, due to sharing pics of my kids haha). I bought an X back last year shortly after they came out (timing issue, needed something new), and the X was the most similar in size, style to my HTC Ones. Anyway, a few months ago, Face ID started getting flaky, then died. Took a while, but I finally got a chance to go to the Apple store. They replaced it with a brand new one on the spot. Was definitely happy with the customer service (though it was a few hours to get things transferred, do updates, set my passwords back up, etc.). But then only a couple weeks after getting the brand new one, I got the green line issue with the screen. So I have to go back to get it fixed/replaced yet again. Two $1,000 phones going bad in like 6 months is not exactly confidence inspiring. Are these things crappy because it's a new design, or am I just having bad luck??? [link] [comments]  | ||
