Do you prefer to set up new iphones from itunes backups or do iphone to iphone transfer? Posted: 23 Nov 2021 11:09 PM PST I've never had a hard time picking but it's been so many years since my last upgrade. What does everyone prefer? I'm positive i've done it through both just fine. Does anyone know the differences if any? The most recent experience was doing my wife's phone. We did a phone to phone transfer, the only bug was all the music album art was messed up. And after making a new back up via itunes syncing all the music got duplicated which was annoying to deal with. edit: what if i mention i have 10k songs, not all of which were purchased on itunes and have been managing my own music of over a decade. edit: i feel like after reading everyone's response, seems like people that like paying for icloud do it that way. i like that apple offers the temporary icloud solution for people who DON'T pay for it. but now i'm leaning towards doing it from my mac. Why doesn’t MagSafe damage the iPhone? Posted: 23 Nov 2021 01:07 PM PST I was always told to keep magnets away from electronics. Fast forward to 2020/2021, and we now put magnets on our phones. Can someone ELI5 what changed? Or were magnets never a problem and this was just a misconception? [link] [comments]
How slippery is the iPhone 13 Pro? Posted: 23 Nov 2021 10:21 AM PST I'm thinking about going caseless. I have never used the 12/13 series before. I'm wondering if it's too risky to operate without a case? Does it slip out of your hand or your pant's pocket easily? Does it slide when put on a table? Also, how comfortable it is hold considering it has sharp edges. [link] [comments]
