    Hi all,

    My XS was replaced by Apple in July 2021, and the replacement unit has been... Trying to get me into an asylum.

    The phone will turn itself off at any time it so wishes, the proceeds to only turn back on whenever it feels like it!

    Just recently I put it in my pocket as I walked into the dentist's, and as I left and picked it back up 20 mins later it was just OFF. Doing the forced reset (volume up, down, and hold power button) does absolutely nothing. Cannot get it in DFU. Nothing. Until whenever it decides to turn back on.

    After sending it for service Apple Support says there's nothing wrong with the device, no errors detected, battery health at 100% etc etc, and yet here I am losing calls and work because my phone will turn off intermittently for either 20 mins or 4 days!

    Can anyone help?

    Suspicious Charge on my account

    hey guys - hoping someone can help me out here. i was charged a fee to the apple store i didn't recognize. i'm trying to access my "Media & Purchases" and i just get the spinning wheel of death. anyone have any guidance here? thank you

    I'm having a very strange issue with my iPhone 7

    I've come across my old iphone 7, it's updated to IOS 15.0, and it's running normally. But I have two issues with it

    ​

    1- I can't sign out from out apple account, the button simply doesn't work. And no, it's not greyed out.

    2- I can't seem to format it; I clicked on "erase all content and settings", but the next page simply doesn't display; it just keep loading!

    Very strange! I tried formatting using Imazing, but it didn't work. It resets the phone and that's it.

    Does there exist a lightning dongle that allows charging via the lightning plug and audio in AND out via the 3.5 mm plug?

    All the dongles I can find on Amazon are just for listening while charging. No microphone support. I want to be able to do calls with my earbuds while still charging with a lightning cable.

    iPhone mail not notifying me of incoming mail until I refresh the app.

    I need my iPhone to send me a notification when I receive mail from my work email.

    However, this only happens when I'm in the mail app and manually do the pull-down refresh.

    I want it to notify me on my lock screen and notification centre when mail comes through, so I don't need to constantly refresh the app.

    Is that possible

    Hi, today i bought a iphone x refurbished but see 2 display issues:

    1: when i am on the home screen and open an app i see the icons from the home screen in the app i just openened slowly fading away…

    Also text stays on the screen when scrolling also fading away

    2: when i use face id i see the screen flickering in the portion of the notch

    What is this?

    Unable to reset icloud passord

    I'm really struggling to reset my girlfriend's icloud email address for her. I have tried online and through the support app on another phone. When I input the phone number to send a notification to reset nothing comes through on that iphone, so I select that "I don't have access to that iphone" which sends a text pass code passcode bit that just advises an email has been sent to the same email I can't access.

    Please could someone help?

    Notes App Search Failure

    I have a large number of notes, some very large. I've begun to notice that a couple of those very big ones aren't appearing in searches for words contained in them.

    Probably not much of a problem for many regardless, but I actually use the app a lot and rely on the search function since scrolling through them to add/delete something is far too time consuming.

    Does anyone know how to transfer all my data from one iphone to another?

    My sister gave me her old iphone (its an 8 I have a 7) and i logged out of her apple account and into mine but all of her photos and apps and stuff are still on it. I know if it was a new iphone I'd be able to transfer everything but is there a way to do it with a second hand phone?

    "Notifications Silenced" message won't go away

    Hi -- I just upgraded to iOS 15.

    I've disabled "Focus Status" and removed Messages from access focus, but when my friends text me, there's still an "OP has notifications silence" message.

    This has happened even with Do Not Disturb off.

    Is this a glitch, or am I missing something really simple?

    Twitter notifications don't make sound anymore. Everything else that's supposed to make sound still works properly

    Hello,

    I don't know what would have changed but Twitter notifications no longer make a sound on my iPhone XR. I'm running iOS 15.1. The notifications work properly besides the sound - I get the banner notification and the badges, but not sounds. Sounds are enabled in General->Settings->Notifications->Twitter. Any idea what the problem might be? Other notifications, like Snapchat and Mail, still make sound.

    Besides verifying that the notification settings look correct to me, I've restarted the phone a couple times but nothing has helped.

    Hi everyone, is there any way to block no caller id calls on iphone. I know the settings toggle but that still sends them to the missed calls section. Is there a way that it just does not receive the call in any way and it doesn’t show in any way?

    IOS 15.1 Network Issue on a specific WiFi

    Greetings,

    I have iPhone Xs running IOS 15.1. All was well until last night, when suddenly some apps and web pages failed to load up. Some of these apps are Twitter, Reddit, Snapchat etc. And some of the websites are Wetransfer, Work website, Imgur, Mail etc. Even the official apple website does not work. And I cannot get the 2 factor authentication cause neither can I open the Update panel in settings or the "password and security" panel in settings either. But this is the weird part, these websites load just fine on ethernet and the WI-FI for other devices on the same home network. So I am sure it is not my home WI-FI provider, and everything works just fine at work WI-FI.

    List of things I have done so far:

    1) Hard Restart the phone about 2-3 times

    2) Reset All Network setting about 2-3 times

    3) Restart the phone 2-3 times

    This is extremely frustrating and delaying work, I would be really grateful for any advice given.

    PLEASE HELP! Why is there this black dark shadow when taking pictures? I have to upload these on a website and have 3 laps surrounded it but whenever it’s bright, it automatically puts this black shadow thing over the middle. Iphone 13.

    Normally I am able to remove some random old or junk phone number from my recent contacts list (in the "to" field of a new message) by clicking on the blue "i".

    However, for this one particular contact that option is not there. In fact, the whole field once I click the blue "i" is just kind of blank.

    I'm assuming this is a bug? Has anyone else encountered this? If so, what is the solution?

    I'm running the latest IOS 15.1 on an iPhone XR.

    The LCI dilemma.

    So here's the thing. I accidentally touched my iphone 12 after washing hands. It was switched off at the time. Wiped off any water droplets and aired it out. Currently still airing it out (4 hours later) and intend to do it as long as can just to be sure.

    The LCI, is neither white, nor fully red (as it should be according to apple, upon Contact with water). It is orange.

    I don't know how to see this. Is this partial water Contact? No water Contact. I'm severely confused and paranoid because I spent a fortune on this thing.
