I started with Galaxy s3 and ended with Pixel 5 (current) and had many things in between. I recently decided to make the swap to an iPhone due to Apple fixing some of the major flaws that kept me back for years, and my iPhone 13 pro is being delivered tomorrow! Now the pros I believe will outweigh the cons. That being said, I'd like to get some advice/pro-tips for swapping over to iPhone to make it seamless and potentially get insight into any useful settings/features that a newbie wouldn't know about. When plugged in phone seems to recognize it in Settings,General,About,,--listed as "SD Card Camera Reader". However nothing happens,,? | My iPhone 7 is draining fast.. battery percentage went from 92 to 56 at night Posted: 30 Nov 2021 06:26 AM PST I was using my iPhone and it was 22 and, I stopped using it since I was in class,!then when I opened it again and it was 19 percent. Then when I came home it was 14 percent. I charged it too 92 percent then it dropped too 89 percent, so I charged it again and it became 92 again. And then when I checked on the phone battery too see if it decreased rapidly and it was 56 percent at 5 pm. The decreasing rapidly at night only happened last night/today. Since then its spread, gotten bigger too but as of recently its moved. I fell asleep ontop of it and the black spot has presumably moved due to the pressure, and now i dont know what it is. I cleaned the charger cable with hyrdrogen peroxide but the spots are still there . is it corrosion? is it mold? idk how it can be if it hasnt touched food, can anyone explain what it is? its not on the metal part that goes into the ipad to charge its on the white cable. | Time Machine only backed up excluded files... Posted: 30 Nov 2021 12:58 AM PST Hi all, Having a bit of a nightmare with Time Machine. Trying to backup to my linux server, got the share set up, everything is working fine on that front. I select where I want to store it, that's all fine. However, with TM, I specifically said I didn't want it to backup my music folder, as it's about 60GBs and everyone just uses Spotify now anyway, right? Anyway, est. size of backup is like 350GBs, estimated time 20 hours or so. I leave it on and go to bed. Wake up in the morning to find it's complete, that's weird. Dig into the folder... it's only bloody backed up the 60gbs of music I had, and nothing else. ??? I clearly picked the exclude option, and it's done it as an include? Any ideas what went wrong here? I'm sure by now I'm not the only one who's noticed the newer macbook's cameras are so so bad compared to the older models for some reason! I love taking macbook photos idk why, I just like the slightly grainy vibe but the new ones are just too horrible I can barely see my face if i'm in dim lighting. Anyone have recommendations for a cheap webcam that's compatible with the macbook that doesn't run my pockets too much? I know nothing about webcams and I'm not sure if all webcams out there "work" with my laptop so that's why i'm asking... please educate me if need be. | can’t see friends in find my app Posted: 30 Nov 2021 02:59 AM PST i went to tmobile two weekends ago and got an upgrade that needs to be shipped out. the guy at tmobile turned my find myself iphone off on my current device. i turned it back on shortly after because i won't even have the new phone for another week or two, but now i can no longer see my friends locations. it says updating with the loading icon for a few seconds and then immediately all of them say no location found. they can see my location. my ios is 14.5, i have tried updating to 15 many times now both through my phone itself and itunes and i get an error message every single time, also tried turning find my off and on again, turning device off/on [link] [comments] |
| Posted: 30 Nov 2021 02:41 AM PST If I look around the notch I sometimes notice it kind of glows around it. I don't know if this is normal but hopefully it is. The other thing is on certain colors like red I feel like there may be one or two pixels or bits sticking out of the notch but only if I look really closely(like microscopic level).
