    Idk how this happened but my watch appears to be charging on my wrist, (and btw, this went away when I pressed the Digital Crown.)

    I know a lot of Cellular vs GPS posts exist in this sub. The answer is: It depends on you, and the model you'd choose.

    What I would like to know is your opinion (Apple Watch Cellular users):

    • How much you use this feature
    • How does It affect the battery
    • The issues (switch from WIFI to DATA delay? unable to connect?)
    • If you had the opportunity to choose again, what mode would you choose?

    In theory, Apple watch cellular would help to release ourselves from the phone. This post aims to reveal the practice.

    I'm waiting for my first watch and discovered the official Apple Watch app. https://apps.apple.com/us/app/watch/id1069511734 I guess you have to download it at some point to link your phone with your watch. Anyways, it let's you see all the watch faces and even let's you customize them. I like the "Count Up" one the best.

    What I was really wanting to find is an app preferably by apple that does the fitness rings on your iPhone. I think that may be a watch only thing though?

    Horrendous battery life after 8.0?

    Recently upgraded to 8.0 on my S3 that I've had for like 2 years. The battery life has never been great, I get maybe 8-10 hours off of a single charge despite paring down the function of the watch to the absolute bare minimum. After the update, it won't charge completely and loses 5% every five minutes. I've reset it and unpaired and repaired it and it hasn't helped. Any ideas on how to fix it? I know it's an older model but I don't have the extra cash laying around to buy a new one, so I'd like to fix this one if possible.

    Edit: Battery health is 87%. It charged for 12 hours overnight and never got about 73%. I haven't even been awake for an hour yet and it's already giving me the 5% warning.

    I remember when AirPods came out and the back order was something like 3 months. Randomly I went into an Apple Store and bought them on the spot. What do you think the chances are if this?

    Will the delivery date get earlier if something changes with supply?

    I have a series 1 so I'm in dire need of an upgrade haha but waiting till Nov 23rd seems wild…

    Auto remote is driving me nuts

    Unable to update to WatchOS8 - Series 3 Watch - "Unable to Verify Update"

    I've been trying like crazy to update my Series 3 watch to OS8 from my iPhone XR and every time it ends in a "Unable to Verify Update. The Watch OS update couldn't be verified because you are not connected to the internet." after it downloads. My watch is now completely wiped so the only option I have is to pair it with my phone, which prompts the update to OS8, so I can't do anything in terms of deleting items off of the watch as some help guides have instructed. I've tried restarting both my phone and the watch, reset the network settings and 'all settings' on my phone, and nothing. Has anyone else had this issue and figured out a solution?? Thanks in advance!

    Apple Watch SE not turning on after swimming

    Bought this watch 6 months ago, went swimming for first time. My watch was low on battery (25%) but I used it to start swim workout anyway. Halfway through it cut off probably due to low battery (12%) Placed it on power reserve while still in water. Next time I checked, screen was black and could not turn on.

    Tried force restarting and pressing and holding the side button, but didn't work. I brought it home to charge and it got really hot and a little bit of water leaked out from the speakers. Now no more water coming out.

    Is my watch not turning on a way for the watch to clear the water from inside? Is my watch damaged or will it turn on? Thank you in advance :)

    Not receiving notifications?

    Since I've updated my phone and watch to iOS 15, I haven't been receiving notifications on my watch in real time. I would get the red dot in the notification bar/center but my watch didn't vibrate or sound when an incoming message came through. Another friend at my job also noticed this and was confused; threatening to return her watch if she couldn't find why was wrong.

    Well, I noticed I have my notifications to mirror my iphone and for some reason, my messages were set to deliver during my morning summary instead of being time sensitive.

    Must of happened when I enabled the new focus settings. But if anyone was having that problem, I hope this helps!

    Does the Apple Watch help you detach from your phone?

    Of course this is not the only reason why I'm buying an Apple Watch but I wanted to know if the watch has helped you detach from your phone. You know, you check one notification and two hours later you are still scrolling through the phone? At least that's what I tend to do. Not to mention all the times I'm doing things but periodically stop to see if I got that important email or call and it's just so inconvenient.

    Has it helped with the phone checking habit?

    Battery issues I can’t figure out

    Hoping someone has advice, google hasn't helped: I plugged in my series 5 last night, 4th day of owning it, and it's only at 54% when I plugged it in at 28% (yeah yeah it's not a plug-in hur durrr). I'd figure that 9 hours would be enough to fully charge it?

    Apple Watch Not Displaying Phone Call Notification

    When I have the work focus mode turned on, my apple watch will not vibrate or inform me there is an incoming call. I have bluetooth enabled and my phone is on me; other time sensitive notifications (e.g. reminders) are working normally. Yesterday, this was fixed after turning my phone off and on, but the problem is back today.

    If someone has found another solution to this, I would greatly appreciate it.

    Note that "mirror my iphone" is turned on and the phone application is an allowed app when this focus mode is turned on.
