- I have recorded a 90 min video on my iPhone. I’m having trouble exporting it, so am trying to crop it into three 30 min segments. Once I’ve trimmed a section of the recording, I select “save as new clip”. Then I get the spiny wheel saying it’s “saving”. But it just stays like that indefinitely.

| Posted: 31 Aug 2021 09:36 PM PDT On Saturday, a close friend was in a serious accident that unfortunately resulted in more broken bones than unbroken ones it seems like, with many facial fractures as well and a whole lot of swelling. As a result, she has had difficulty reading the mass amount of text messages she has received in the past few days due to her eyes getting tired from focusing and the pain meds she is on making her woozy when reading (and may be on these meds for a good while). We have started sending voice messages in lieu of texts to keep her spirits up, but I know she wants to read the previous messages that everyone sent her before realizing she is having a hard time reading them right now. With time, she will be able to read library shelves worth of books without these issues, but for now, she needs a little help!!! Is there a way to convert past text messages into voice memos? Does anyone have an idea on how to make this process as easy as possible for her Mom, who is the only one allowed to see her in her hospital room? Are we going to have to copy and paste them all into Notes or something then do something with Accessibility? Any help would be appreciated! Thank you in advance 🙏🏼 [link] [comments]  | ||

I like to use Apple Music for normal, daily listening to music. However, I don't want to mix my local music with Apple Music. She had an Android for a while and what she seems to miss the most is the ability to dismiss all upcoming alarms with one press. She's the type that will set 25 alarms and will silence them one at a time and get up after 10-15 of them go off. So then she faces the problem of silencing the remaining alarms. | Weird issue with hidden folder Posted: 01 Sep 2021 03:26 AM PDT iOS 10.7.1 on iphone 6S here! Before, I add the « hide » button that showed up when I pressed on the share button of a photo, adding it to the hidden folder, plain and simple. Since iOS 14 there is just simply no hide button anymore, so that I can't add anymore pictures and vids to this album. I can hide and show the whole folder from the setting, but the only ones hidden are the ones I hid previously, like a few years ago (I don't use that feature that often) I also tried adding the « hide » action after pressing the share feature, but again, it is absent. The only thing showing up is the list of apps that can perform an action with the picture. I find this very weird. Am I the only one having this issue? Insight would be much appreciated, as my only solution is not only to take out the pictures from the phone plain and simple so they don't show up anymore and this is a bummer. | How can I move my photo's from Android to iPhone without duplicates? Posted: 01 Sep 2021 01:38 AM PDT I am going to be switching to a new iPhone in a couple of days but I'm worried about transferring my photo's. I used an iPhone X before using my current phone, a Samsung Note 10. I decided to move back to ios but now I'm unsure about how my photo's and videos will be transferred. My previous photo's and videos from the iPhone X is currently on my Samsung so I'm worried that those photo's will be duplicated by using the move to ios app since those photo's are also on my old iCloud backup. Will this be the case and if it is, how can I prevent the photo's from duplicating while also transferring all the photo's and videos I collected since using the Samsung? [link] [comments]  | ||

Supposedly a racing game: https://apps.apple.com/de/app/project-cars-go/id1418668113 I deleted it. I had browsed the App Store before and, at the time, thought I might have simply downloaded the wrong app. I deleted the app from my phone. Today, the app installed itself again. This time, I did not browse the app store, in fact, I was not using my phone at all. | Recently Deleted photos all disappeared before the 30 days Posted: 31 Aug 2021 08:46 PM PDT Been clearing out my camera roll. Afterwards I usually double check the Recently Deleted just to make sure I didn't delete certain photos by accident. I had about 400 in there and the oldest one had 4 days remaining until it was permanently deleted. I checked yesterday and they were all gone. It's not that big of a deal and I'm sure it's a lost cause, but is there any possible way to get them back? | Posted: 31 Aug 2021 08:14 PM PDT I was using iMessage and it suddenly crashed. When opened the app again and all my messages are gone. My messages on save for forever and in storage it still shows the same size. I reset my phone and it's still empty. Weirdly, I tried to look up a word in message history but nothing would show up, but then I texted my friend and when I looked up the same word, I would be able to see older messages. When trying to press in them to go back to the message, it would just take me to the last message I sent him and I still wouldn't be able to scroll up. [link] [comments]  | ||
