Posted: 01 Sep 2021 01:15 AM PDT If i connect my Samsung soundbar to AppleTV with Bluetooth and connect AppleTV to my TV's HDMI(ARC) port, will I be able to route sounds from my PS4 to the soundbar via ARC? My Sony TV has 3 HDMI ports and one of them is ARC to which my Soundbar (with ARC) is connected, I want to free a HDMI slot, will the above set up work, has anyone tried it? [link] [comments]  | ||

| The difference between lg web os and appletv UI Posted: 31 Aug 2021 10:14 AM PDT I forget how terrible the UI is on the lg tv when I have to go into settings and then decided to click on an app like you tube tv and you realize how much better it runs on Apple TV especially with the color balance. | Posted: 31 Aug 2021 08:39 PM PDT I had audio last night but turning it on today there is no sound. My setup is a Vizio 4K smartTV with a Vizio sound bar connected via optical cable, and an AppleTV 4K connected to the tv via hdmi. After troubleshooting the tv, the internal speakers work just fine on the YouTube not on the AppleTV and when connected to the sound bar both wired and wirelessly. The AppleTV audio works if I set up the sound bar as a Bluetooth device but I shouldn't have to do that. Any ideas would be appreciated. It's not currently airplaying or screen mirroring anything and I've reset both the AppleTV and hdmi ports… [link] [comments]  | ||
| Cannot get 4K HDR to work with Sony XBR-55A9G Posted: 31 Aug 2021 08:25 PM PDT HELP! I'm not able to get 4K HDR to work with my setup. All of my devices are 4K HDR compatible. Here is my setup: Apple TV 4K > Sony STR-ZA810ES receiver via a Belkin Ultra HD High Speed HDMI 2.1 Cable 6ft > using the 4K HDR input (Game) > Sony XBR-55A9G OLED tv. On my Sony AVR HDMI signal for the input (Game) is set to 'Enhanced'. The error that my ATV is giving me says "you may need to choose "Ultra" or "Deep" color settings on your TV or try a different HDMI Input." I have it my TV Picture Mode to Vivid sinceUltra or Deep are not options. I also went to TV Picture settings>advanced settings>video options>HDR Mode> set to 'HDR10' … HDR Video Range is set to 'Full' Any suggestions at of settings I should update to make this work? | Siri Remote Volume Control laggy Posted: 31 Aug 2021 01:23 PM PDT Since a few days, i think around the same time the Update for the new siri Remote was released, the Volume control is laggy. When i press up or down the volume doesnt change instantly, it takes a mili sec longer then normally. When i restart the Apple TV 4K it works Perfect again, after putting it into rest mode, the Problem occurs again. Anyone Else experiencing it? [link] [comments]  | ||

So Boots tells the group that Maghra was killed and then he tricks them so they get imprisoned underground. After escaping did they not think that he could have been lying about seeing her killed so they should go investigate whether or not they can confirm she's actually dead? I understand that he presented that little cloth bag to them and said it had her blood on it but still you'd think one of them would have questioned it afterward, [link] [comments]  | ||

| Apple TV 4K worth it on Samsung QN90? Posted: 31 Aug 2021 09:29 AM PDT I'm getting a 4K QN90 Samsung. I currently have the 4th gen Apple TV non 4K. Given the Samsung has AirPlay and all the other apps I'd use on Apple TV, is it worth bothering to upgrade my Apple TV, or should I just run Samsung native apps? I originally bought it for AirPlay and because most integrated SmartTV apps usually suck, but I'm assuming with modern TVs like this they should be fine. Anything I'm missing by not upgrading? | Posted: 31 Aug 2021 11:01 AM PDT I have a Sony Bravia TV (x900f), Yamaha TSR-7850 AVR, and a 5.1 speaker set up (SVS ultra center, prime towers and prime satellites). I have the Apple TV 4K plugged into the AVR and the AVR and TV connected via eARC. When I "A" "B" test the audio quality from the same streaming movie through the Apple TV and then my TVs native app program the audio quality is noticeably better using my TVs clunky native apps versus the Apple TV. There is more detail, surround sound, etc going through the TVs app than Apple TV 4K. Anyone else have this issue and find any solutions? I paid a premium for the Apple TV because I wanted it's smooth user interface and fast processing speed. Never thought it would cost me some sound quality, which seems crazy. One potential solution could be changing HDMI cords? I know, I know, but I'm not using Apple's suggested Belkin's UltraHD cable. Maybe that is the difference? Anyway to have the Apple TV 4K just pass the audio through to my AVR (as it's sent from my TV or the app) to let my AVR do the deciding/work on the audio? [link] [comments]  | ||

On my Harmony 650 remote, I'm having difficulty programming a way to fast forward or rewind on certain apps (such as DailyMotion). It seems that it can only do FF/REW via a touchpad gesture.
