• Medical question — could my watch be tracking some kind of cardiac event as these ridiculous drops in hr? My resting hr right now is around 100, my hr while sleeping is 80-90, there’s no way this is correct

Environment sensor is broken after 2+ years, repair cost doesn't make sense Posted: 01 Sep 2021 02:52 AM PDT (Long time lurker, 1st time posting) My sad story with the Apple Watch Series 4: after a couple of failed attempts at the apple store (1st watch didn't switch off the screen, the wheel of the 2nd watch didn't work --perhaps some careless refurbishing at Apple?), I went online and ordered the Watch 4 (cellular). All was good for 2+ years (from May 2019 until August 2021). Then, one day the battery started to drain super fast (10% in less than 3 hours). I went to the Apple shop and after the usual stuff (reboot, reset, etc.) the diagnose tool says that the environmental sensor is broken, and the reparation would cost 300€ plus taxes (it seems they don't want you to repair).
