    iPhone XR New phone, new update and huuge battery drain

    Hello everyone. I have recently bought a second hand iPhone XR using iOS 14.7 from a tech shop. With everything off (Bluetooth, location services, background refreshing etc.) it drains the battery so fast.

    In 10 minute screen time, %10 battery goes away and I don't know why. I left it over night with %50 battery and it died before the morning. (I will post a screenshot in comments) Battery health is at %88.

    So, is it a iOS bug or should I have to change the battery?

    iPhone 6 Plus help

    I have an 6-plus that is over two years old and it has a couple of issues.

    #1: Random faint white lines will appear on the screen on the left side. These come and go randomly but I don't find it too serious of an issue.

    #2: Phone will randomly not respond to touch. Locking and unlocking the screen will automatically fix this issue but I have to do this frequently and usually multiple times per day.

    I took out the sim card and checked for water damage and could not find any. I did not see the white strip indicating no water damage but I also did not see a red strip indicating water damage so I do suspect water damage to be the issue. Phone also kind of lags a bit but don't find it too much of a nuisance.

    Does anyone have any ideas what may be wrong? Could it be a hardware or software issue? Is it time to replace the phone for a new one?

    Screen brightness

    So does it happen to anybody else that when you are on your iPhone the screen randomly locks to a brightness? And now it's not an automatic screen setting, like it just locks on there and when I try to adjust it it has a limit, like I can take the brightness all the way up but it will only go up to a certain point. Anybody else?

    GETTING COMPANY EMAIL TO iPHONE

    I was recently given a company cell phone but I have never used an Apple product in my life. The company email address isn't GMail, Yahoo, etc but operates under Outlook. I don't know how to add a custom email address to this phone. Can anyone graciously help me?

    Broken back camera. Any advice?

    My ip11 back camera got broken last week (the glass from the top). I saw too many videos of people changing those glasses at home so I bought some new ones from Amazon and I changed them. Conclusion: my camera can't take sharp pics at long distances anymore, just at close ones. Do you think it's because the inside camera got broken or it's just the new bad quality glass? Thanks

    Recently I tried to purchase some iCloud space options for my iPhone but everything is shown in dollars instead of LKR. Both the region/country is set to Sri Lanka (App Store as well as iPhone)but my phone doesn’t show the pricing in LKR. What shall I do ?

    Can you turn off the weather app animations?

    I've got an iPhone 11 pro, and I'm using the Weather app that comes with the phone.

    I can't stand lighting. Hate it. Everything to do with it. It sets me on edge, makes me miserable. Chalk it up to PTSD; I just don't like it.

    Is there any way to turn off the background animations? When it's storming outside I would like to be able to quickly check the weather, but I can't stand the goddamn lightning going off in the background.

    I believe I can turn it off with motion reduction in the accessibility settings, but I'd rather reduce all animations on my phone.

    when i try to call my friend it beeps theee times, then says the person is unable to accept calls and when i send a text it doesn't deliver. i'm on iphone what is happeninggg

    edit: i don't think i've been blocked, because they still have the option to block me through contacts

    SIM card no longer working after transferring from iPhone 5S to iPhone X

    I'm not getting the "No SIM Detected", I see the network name (AT&T) and bars that would imply it is reading the SIM fine and I have cell service. But I can't send or receive texts or calls. If I try to make a call it says that calls cannot be made from this line.

    The new phone was previously being used with a verizon SIM card and under settings it says the phone has no carrier restrictions, but somehow it's acting like the SIM is no longer valid after putting it in the new phone. What's worse is that the same thing now happens when I tried putting it back in my old phone, so my phone number is effectively dead now.

    I realize this may be a network issue rather than a phone issue but I thought I'd try asking here first in case someone knows what would have caused this.

    Full size picture emailed from iPhone to Hotmail address get's converted to smaller thumbnail instead of attachment but other servers receive fine

    This is really bizarre and I haven't been able to find anything as to what is happening.

    Full size picture emailed from iPhone to Hotmail address get's converted to smaller thumbnail, and even when the same email is also sent to another email server at the same time with 2 recipients (I'm using IONOS for myself). I receive the images as attachments at full size. If I forward that email back to Hotmail it is received properly as attachments.

    I looked at settings in outlook.com that Hotmail runs on and nothing stands out as an option to automatically resize the images. I'm recommending that the sender try sending using either the Gmail app or outlook app on their iPhone instead of the Apple mail client and await their response. Anybody see something like this and what was the resolution?

    Move iPhone photos to Windows PC?

    I just upgraded to a hefty amount of iCloud storage and I want to start using it a lot more. I'm trying to get photos onto my computer from a vacation several months ago. Plugging my iPhone into my Windows PC doesn't let me retrieve these pics. Apparently the pics are on iCloud. I go to iCloud and only photos from many years ago are there plus some pics that I took just the other day, but nothing in the middle.

    I can't figure out how to tell my Photos app to resync everything with iCloud. What am I doing wrong here? Been struggling for a few days on this.

    Importing JPEG only with the SD reader dongle?

    So I recently bought the above mentioned connector and when I first connected it I SWEAR it asked me if I want to import just the raw photos AND the jpegs. Of course I said both but now I only want to import the jpegs directly to the iPhone.

    Unfortunately I can't find any option on how to do that? But I swear there has to be a way. Some setting somewhere I'm missing?

    iPhone Touch ID replacement?

    Hello there. When replacing the iPhone's LCD I've always replaced the Home button by moving the original one to the new screen, as usual, so I've never dug into this particular procedure. Is there any possibility of a replacement for the home button AND the touch id?

    So i have a Oneplus bullets wireless z, but it's mic is not working with iPhone XR, i can confirm the mic is working as it is working on my other device (oneplus 7). I am unable to find the source of this problem, the mic input volume is very very low and you can barely hear it when the mic is on the mouth. Any help is appreciated!
