Best way to combine 2 back ups?

I got a new iPhone and set up the new one from scratch. My old iPhone has thousands of pictures in iMessage that will take forever to save. Is there anyway to back up my old iPhone and restore it to the new iPhone, so the new iPhone has all of my old iPhone iMessage photos without erasing the new iMessage photos on the new iPhone?

I had iMessage sync set up with iCloud but it only synced like half of the photos.

Bought a new iPhone X, need help with a few problems.

Hello guys, in 2017 when the iPhone X came out I looked at it and thought I really want that, but my iPhone 6s that I got as a high school graduation present was still doing everything I wanted from a phone (a few bruises but other that it was new, even the battery was great) and as a college student its not like I had any disposable income.

About nine months ago tho, a need for a new phone arose. I knew what I wanted but I found out getting it was not gonna be a easy task, turns out the iPhone X was only made by apple for one year making one to find in 2020/2021 a real pain in the rear, if you don't really wanna buy used. Reconditioned by Apple is not even an option in my country.

In the meanwhile I used an old iPhone 5s, while looking at physical and online stores, looking for something at a reasonable price.

I found a store on eBay located in the US that sold phones, both new and used and that had some iPhone X in stock. I pulled the trigger and got myself a model A1865 256gb in silver for 700usd.

A part of me thought about keeping it unopened as maybe these will be collectible one day, but since this was my first paycheck i decided I was gonna enjoy my new phone.

A week later it arrived, opening the box and pulling the plastic of the screen was an amazing feeling. After months of searching there it was.

Using the phone has been great but after so much and being naturally cautious a question was still on my mind, how do I know this is legit a new original phone? I checked online and apparently if you can use the App Store you most likely have a genuine phone, I also run the IMEI checker and it came of as the right model and phone.

But alas some strange things have happened with the phone, so I'm posting it online so people who know more than me about tech might be able to help me:

-First one is when I turned on the phone, it said my iPhone was activating, but when I ran the IMEI checker, it said the phone was not yet active, I also run my serial number on Apple check coverage website and it also said this phone need proof of purchase added to activate, so I'm thinking maybe not a genuine phone after all, I called Apple and send them proof of purchase but they said the system won't let them add it manually and that I need to restore my phone from iTunes. Is this a normal thing that happens? Never had this problem with my other past iPhones. (Could this have to do with me not setting up Apple Pay somehow?)

-Phone did not start with the iPhone X signature live wallpaper and instead started with the beach one. I created a fresh account for the phone. And talking about wallpapers what's wrong with this blurry text.

-update screen is black with white logo instead of white with black logo that you are supposed to get on the silver version, or at least that's what I read.

-when you use your finger to go and write in the middle of words the little bar actually appears on top of my screen instead of being under it.

-is there a way to check if a phone is working as it should for his hardware. I see so much amazing pictures of this iPhone model but my camera is not up to that, I would describe it as being barely better than I remember my 6s being. The 2x camera actually has good quality as most as good as the main one on my phone, To my eyes at least.

-and lastly the back of the phone looks weird when light is on it, like the refraction of the light makes this white lines appear and they feel wrong. I wonder if my heavy duty case somehow screwed the phone (pics are bad cuz they were taken by my old 5s) Thanks everyone for reading through my journey and the problems I found even if you can't help in any way. I know it sounds maybe pathetic, but I saw some red flags and I usually go straight into pessimist mode. I hope and I get to receive some good news, and I can just relax and enjoy my first paycheck purchase (the phone took most of it), but I was a goal of mine to own one of these.

If the situation is dire and the phone is not genuine or whatever I can still trigger eBay money back guarantee, so all the help is needed.

    Best wishes, Eduardo.

PS:Pics of blurry text and phone back here as I apparently can't post them on the same post https://www.reddit.com/r/iPhoneX/comments/oeh0rv/supporting_pics_for_my_iphone_x_post/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf
