It needs a software update that isn't out yet. Obviously this is one of the risks of beta software, but as the top application in the UK and no real way to downgrade your OS version, I thought it might be worth sharing! Fortunately I will be using my TV's built-in iPlayer as the Apple TV 4K doesn't 4K for Wimbledon and the Euros! [link] [comments]  | ||

Long story short: I have an HD version of Independence Day in my Apple TV Library because I redeemed the digital code via Movies Anywhere—won't make that mistake again. iTunes has an iD4/Resurgence Bundle for $7.99. Both movies are 4K HDR when purchased from Apple. Here's my question: Will the HD copy in my Library be converted to 4K if I buy this bundle? I absolutely love iD4! I watch it a few times a year, but especially on the 4th of July... Resurgence isn't very good, but I'd still buy it to complete the duology. Thanks for your help! [link] [comments]  | ||

There's the new ATV setting "audio return channel" to play the TV audio but it also says to "use your TV's pass through mode for best performance." Posted: 02 Jul 2021 12:40 PM PDT I got the new remote (siri 2021) and every app so far (hulu, netflix, prime), works perfectly with it, except infuse (7.0.6). The most noticeable problem is that the 10 second skips don't work when clicking on the ring. While the video is playing, the 10 second animation thing comes up next the the cursor but nothing is skipped. Holding down the ring does nothing like on the other apps. But at least the circling thing works well. Maybe they never testing using the new remote on the older apple tv? [link] [comments]  | ||

Now that I've linked Disney+ to the app the situation is worse than before. As Disney+ contents don't have a logo as the AppleTV+ ones, I don't know what I can watch for free and what I have to pay for. Amazon Prime has a simple "Store" tab, why can't we have that too?
