Headphones DB limitting accurate? Posted: 02 Jul 2021 05:31 PM PDT Hi I have the AirPods Pro and the iPhone SE 2 set at 75 db max. However when I put the volume at max, I reach around 85 db with a sound level meter put directrly on the tip. Is this normal ? On my Sennheiser Momentum 3 however, when the limit is set at 80 db, I get around 76-78 db. Can we rely on the level meter on the « ear widget » I already have some small tinnitus un one ear, so this is something important for me. Thanks guys Alan [link] [comments] |
