And it suddenly drops to 45% ( 5% drop ) everytime and suddenly after that battery life becomes really bad and goes down fast. Why is that ? What should i do ? Any advice ? | AirPods Randomly Disconnecting and Reconnecting During Video Calls Posted: 30 Jun 2021 04:06 AM PDT Airpods Randonly Disconnect and Reconnect on Video Calls As the title says, my AirPods have been randomly disconnect and reconnecting immediately in video calls. I will lost the ability to speak or hear for a few seconds and then the "Topher's AirPods" pop up will appear and I'll be able to hear again. This might happen 4-5 times in a call, sometimes in rapid succession. I haven't noticed in it regular phone calls as I don't make many very long calls, but it has also happened on FaceTime. It does not happen when listening to Spotify of Pocket Casts. I can't tell what's causing this; it seems random. I brought it to the Apple Store and they replaced the airpods, but the problem persists. I've realized it only happens on my iPhone 12. Apple chat has been no help. Posted: 30 Jun 2021 03:53 AM PDT A week or 2 ago I came home from work and noticed the top right of my screen was sticking out, took it to a specialist as I thought it was the battery. The casing has sprained and bent slightly outwards on the top right corner and I can see the backlight of the screen in a 1-1.5mm sized gap. I'm slightly concerned about my screen just randomly popping out and it would cost me about £300-400 to get a replacement. (This is a replacement phone and the 90 day warranty had just expired and I forgot to buy apple care so my fault really.) I'm just wondering whether it would last or whether I'd be better off just buying a new phone? [link] [comments]  |

It has always worked fine up until a few hours ago. I have reset network on iPhone, restarted both phones, T-Mobile says no blocks, I checked blocked numbers on both devices and they're empty.. It's very puzzling and I think one of the phones silenced or blocked the other somehow. Android can send to the iPhone mini just fine. [link] [comments]  |

| Posted: 29 Jun 2021 08:35 PM PDT One thing I noticed is that when I connect my iPhone to my car to hook it up to CarPlay, it doesn't seem to work so well when I use a generic cable I might have bought from Amazon, but it works fine when I use an official apple lightning cable. Is there a specific reason why? Anyone have any luck using non Apple branded cables? The cables I get elsewhere, even if it gives issues with CarPlay, it still charges my phone all fine. I've tried pretty much everything you could imagine in the hole (pins, earring backs, etc.) except for the actual eject tool which I'll be trying when I go to my boyfriend's house since he has one and I don't. I tried the pins on the slot of a 6S and it worked just fine, is there any particular reason why it won't work for this 11? [link] [comments]  |

| Posted: 29 Jun 2021 04:53 PM PDT hi! i've noticed this happens sometimes, when i send a text it will go through (no blue bar at the top) but it will not say delivered. yes, the bubble is blue. if you old it down you get the "send as text message" option as well. it only seems to be happening to one person right now- i know they did not block me. switch phones, etc etc. other than their phone being dead/off, is there any other explanation? | iphone X was in rain, please help :( Posted: 29 Jun 2021 02:05 PM PDT hi all i left my phone X (has a bulky protective case) in the balcony and came back inside to answer the door (someone knocked) and just my luck it started drizzling rain and by the time i saw it about 10-15 mins after, the display was showing the apple logo and keeps restarting (sign of water damage?). I took the SIM out and put the phone in an enclosed SILICA GEL box to dry but the phone itself looks dry because it had a protective case and it wasnt really in the light rain for too long. FML, should i start looking for a new iphone? On the apple site it is advertised as "Yes, the iPhone X is designed to be waterproof up to 1 meter or approximately 3 feet." and this was sitting in 10 mins of light rain and its screwed.....any hope of it working after it dries up? although it looks pretty dry already... Posted: 29 Jun 2021 01:19 PM PDT Hello dear apple community, I wonder if there is a way to capture the screen of your device AND the camera (preferably the front) to make videos. I have been searching around and didn't find a solution. I even paid like 10 bucks for the app MoviePro for my iPhone SE (2020) that claims to be the best, but I also can't find the option there. It gives me the opportunity to capture both cameras (front and back) at the same, but that's not really what I want. But how hard can it be from there to capture a camera and the screen at the same time? I figure that it is probably possible with a recording software like OBS to capture your device and a camera and also to use video editing to combine two videos together. But I am looking for a way to record YouTube videos outside and create videos with one device where I can show what I am doing on my screen and also capture the camera at the same time. | Randomly signed out of iMessage? Posted: 29 Jun 2021 12:01 PM PDT So I am home on wifi and I noticed that the last 3 iMessages I had sent were "not delivered". This is not the first time I have randomly seen "not delivered" for seemingly no reason (though it's been a while I believe), so after 3 messages not sending, I restart my device. Now it is sending/receiving iMessages and working as it should. Upon restarting my device I had a notification on my Mac, "Your Apple ID and phone number are now being used for imessage and facetime on a new iPhone. If you have recently signed into "*my name's* iPhone" you can ignore this notification. Now I am relatively new to Mac so this is the first time I have seen this message. Anyways, I was wondering what might have caused this? I did not sign out or into my iPhone or any of my devices. I was just using my phone as normal and messages were failing to deliver, I restart, and my Mac tells me as if I have just signed into my iPhone. (All I did was restart my device). I can see on both my iPhone and my Mac that they are the only devices I am logged onto. I do not think or have reason to believe my account has been breached. Has anyone had this happen before? | Moisture in my charging port warning Posted: 29 Jun 2021 11:56 AM PDT Hello I've got the new iPhone 12 mini and somehow, the tiniest bit of conditioner got stuck in the charging port of my phone. Then the moisture warning came up on my phone and I was freaking out so tried to clean it with a toothpick and cotton gently didn't press hard to mess up the electrical and figured it would be fine because the phone is supposed to be water resistance. Then I left it overnight so hopefully the conditioner water evaporates and then when I checked in the morning I thought it was fixed because I put the charging on anf it was charging and only 45 minutes later the moisture notification came on the screen, I left it to dry and kept doing this several times in the day and the notif only popped on after a significant time of me charging normally. My phone is working completely fine and there's no problems elsewhere apart from this charging thing. I went to the apple store and they weren't particularly helpful as they were like just get MagSafe and didn't inspect or tell me anything. What should I do? I'm on my third try charging the phone and it's all good so far and charged from 7% to 90% with no problems so far. I don't know if my phones water damaged? (I don't think so because I did the sim thing and there wasn't a red light) Or anything and advice would be really appreciated! [link] [comments]  |

Posted: 29 Jun 2021 04:34 AM PDT I noticed around 10 days ago I wasn't receiving notifications from certain apps like Twitter, Hinge, Financial Times and a dozen others, but still received from Instagram, Bumble and and others. No complaints to be honest. I just plugged my phone into power for a midday and my phone immediately blew up for 20 seconds straight with like 200 notifications pouring in. Any ideas?
