Why was iPhone 12 series released almost year ago $729 instead of $699? Posted: 21 Jun 2021 11:15 PM PDT When iPhone 12 was released last year, I remember there was some talk about the fact that the unlocked sim free version was $730 and to get it at $699, you had to get the phone from one of the providers along with a term or some to big like that. I think this relates to USA only. Can anybody elaborate please what happened there? Was this the first time there was a price difference? [link] [comments]
Posted: 22 Jun 2021 08:12 AM PDT Bit of a discussion over at /r/ChicagoSuburbs about an Emergency Alert that was sent to people about a Tornado Warning. I tried searching here and couldn't really find a good answer. Is there any rhyme or reason why multiple phones would NOT receive the emergency alert if it's been enabled? It's obviously a bit concerning all things considered, but curious if there is some sort of subreddit consensus on why you wouldn't get it. [link] [comments]

Photo Vault App Recommendation Posted: 21 Jun 2021 09:23 PM PDT I have a ton of photos of receipts, bills, and other random documents that are all organized into a file structure on my computer. I was curious if there was a photo-vault style, password-protected app I could use to view them that would allow me to upload the entire file structure rather than having to rebuild it? TIA! Posted: 21 Jun 2021 06:11 PM PDT Hey guys, I am looking into the iPhone 12 Pro Max and was wondering about the camera. I did read somewhere on this thread that the iPhone 12 Pro Max has problems with close up pictures. Is this true because of the Hardware or something else. [link] [comments] |
