| Xbox Series X|S Controller Update? Posted: 23 Jun 2021 01:07 PM PDT So I just purchased a new gen Xbox controller to use. When I connected via Bluetooth I see an alert in the Bluetooth menu that states the controller firmware needs to be updated due to performance issues. However, I don't have an Xbox or a Windows PC to do this with. I tested the controller in a few games and it seemed fine, but has anyone else in the same situation noticed any issues? I'm not into puzzle games, card-based games, games that don't have a plot, emulated 90s games, or ports of old games (ie. Baldur's Gate / KOTOR on Android). I definitely enjoyed my time with Fall Guys during its first month of release so I knew I had to pull the trigger on it! I'm getting what I estimate to be a good half second lag between controller inputs and the inputs being implemented in game. I've had a look around and see suggestions that you should move the ATV away from WiFi sources (router, for example) but that's not practical. My XBox and ATV sit right next to each other, near the router, but with the same controller the ATV lags but the XBox is fine. It's on the latest non-beta update; any input greatly appreciated. I capture my gameplay with screen recordings to get game audio and chat, and use discord in the background with craigbot for my voice, or my iphone's memo app and later edit everything. I have noticed most of the time when gaming, specially with games that have voice chat, I will either capture my voice with no game audio or chat, or vice versa. What solutions do you have that won't require a PC? I do have a hub adapter for my iPad for usb 3.0, usb C, and hdmi if that helps. And I edit on Lumafusion. I do have file converters for unsupported files. I was also thinking and hoping theres good mics that can some how save good quality audio and that I can later connect to my ipad and transfer the files. In the meantime, I will continue to capture game audio and chat on my iPad and my own audio on my iPhone. [link] [comments]  | ||
