iPhoneX How to add custom ringtone |
| Posted: 21 May 2021 10:51 AM PDT Hey folks, I was just about to pull my hairs out and scream in desperation something to the effect of "What the F%*# is wrong with Apple?" But then I realized, I'm probably just letting my basic human irrational instincts take over me without any real foundation. I'm trying to take a ringtone file I downloaded to my phone. It's formatted as a .m4r and plays just nicely in my PC using VLC. The file was originally a .mp4 likely created using another iPhone and was sent to me. But I guess I haven't really updated my knowledge in a while for how my new iPhoneX really works. Does anybody here have any suggestions on effortless solutions to add custom ringtones to my iPhoneX? Specifically, it'd be great if I could take any .m4r, .mp3, and .mp4 file I may find online or have in my iPhone's Download folder and then easily add a custom ringtone to my iPhoneX from such a file. I mean... we're talking BASIC, day-to-day phone settings customizations here, right? I honestly can't explain how someone who's very familiar with modern technologies to a decent degree such as myself can be struggling so much to accomplish this... 🙈 Any help would be appreciated.
