If I take a picture with my phone of the screen, it does show up. To the naked eye, it does not. I've tried both videos and apps like Notes with the dark mode (white "ink" on a black background) enabled. People are knowingly encouraging hysteria over this for clicks and attention (and some good old fashioned Apple-bashing) - don't buy into it. Find a unit in an Apple store for yourself and have a look. The posts suggesting there's a half-inch glow around anything white on a dark background are ludicrously false. Edited to remove (unintended) suggestion that there's NO bloom - there probably is if you point an electron microscope at it. My slightly short-sighted (glasses needed for driving but nothing else) ass can't see any. [link] [comments]  | ||

Apart from being considerably louder they just work better together to create a superior sound stage. It's a more complete setup for sure. I just played Bell BiV Devoe's classic 'Poison' as a direct comparison between my 2018 and 2021. It's so different. Better sound was not something I was expecting really, but it's fantastic bonus. I see some online at Amazon for $10 for a 3 pack which seems crazy to me. Some are $50. Are these a get what you pay for thing or is there really no difference between the 10 and 50 ones? Posted: 21 May 2021 11:19 AM PDT I have the 1st Gen 9.7 inch iPad Pro cellular, for the past 2 years or so I have noticed the iPad running laggier than ever after watching some RPAN live... even typing this now, I can type one or two words ahead of what's being put down on screen... the mid right side gets hotter than any other application or even charging (and I mean hotter by a long shot)... the battery will drain from 100 to 0 in just a few hours where before it would last all day with plenty to spare. The issue seems to get worse each time I update. Right now it's so bad I can barely type this out. Curious if anyone else experiences this because support didn't offer much help? | Note taking and dictionary apps for language learning Posted: 21 May 2021 02:13 AM PDT Hi All, I'm interested, what are you using for taking notes during language classes. I'm attending to an online class and want to avoid using so much paper. For creating/sharing self-study cards, StudySmarter is a good option on both ipad/phone/computer. But for the classes I should have different "workbooks": one for the daily course notes, a separate dictionary, sometimes a separate special dictionary. Homeworks are also collected into separate docs per date base. I have Nebo, Goodnotes, Notability installed and currently using mostly Nebo, because during writing, it transcripts on-the-fly, so I can see if my writing is precise and readable :D Also I can search my handwritten notes, which is a big plus. In a main folder I have several workbooks for daily notes, dictionary, etc. So I always have to change workbooks to write here or there. Is there a better way to do so? Are there apps for building my own dictionary handwritten and transcripted? Thanks ;) [link] [comments]  | ||
